💠Ganga River
⚛The Ganges or Ganga, is a trans-boundary river of South Asia which flows through India and Bangladesh.
⚛It originates from the Gangotri Glacier in Uttarakhand, and flows south and east through the Gangetic Plain of India and Bangladesh, eventually emptying into the Bay of Bengal.
⚛Tributaries:-
⚛Left:- Ramganga, Gomati, Ghaghara, Gandak, Burhi Gandak, Kosi, Mahananda and Brahmaputra
⚛Right:- Yamuna, Tamsa, Sone, Punpun, phalgu, kiul, Karamnasa, Chandan, Damodar
⚛The river is home to reptiles and mammals, including critically endangered species such as the Gharial and South Asian river dolphin (Gangetic Dolphin)
⚛The Ganges is a sacred river to Hindus along every fragment of its length and considered as mother Godess.
