➼ Union Minister Mansukh Mandaviya flagged off the  'Fit India Cycling Tuesday' initiative on December 17 in New Delhi.
केंद्रीय मंत्री मनसुख मांडविया ने 17 दिसंबर को नई दिल्ली में ‘फिट इंडिया साइक्लिंग मंगलवार’ पहल को हरी झंडी दिखाई है।

➼ Prime Minister Narendra Modi will participate in the program on the completion of one year of Rajasthan government in Jaipur on December 17. On this occasion, he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of 24 projects related to energy, road, railway and water supply costing Rs 46 thousand 300 crore.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 17 दिसंबर को जयपुर में राजस्थान सरकार के एक वर्ष पूरा होने पर कार्यक्रम में भाग लिया।इस अवसर पर 46 हजार 300 करोड़ की लागत वाली ऊर्जा, सड़क, रेलवे और जलापूर्ति से जुड़ी 24 परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन और शिलान्यास किया।

➼ Recently, Vietnam's Coast Guard Ship, CSB 8005 has arrived in Kochi to enhance international cooperation between India and Vietnam. Both countries will participate in the  "Sahyog - Hop Tac" exercise to promote cooperation between the armies.
हाल ही में भारत और वियतनाम के बीच अंतर्राष्ट्रीय सहयोग बढ़ाने के लिए वियतनाम का तट रक्षक जहाज, सीएसबी 8005 कोच्चि पहुंचा है। दोनों देश सेनाओं के बीच सहयोग को बढ़ावा देने के लिए “सहयोग – हॉप टैक” अभ्यास में हिस्सा लेंगे। 

➼ The ' 10th International Forest Festival'has started from 17 December in Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh . This festival will continue till 23 December.
मध्य प्रदेश के भोपाल में 17 दिसंबर से ‘10वां अंतर्राष्ट्रीय वन महोत्‍सव’ शुरू हुआ है। यह महोत्‍सव 23 दिसंबर तक रहेगा।

➼ National Council of Educational Research and Training – NCERT on December 16 signed an MoU with an e-commerce platform to ensure affordable and seamless availability of NCERT publications across the country.
राष्ट्रीय शैक्षिक अनुसंधान और प्रशिक्षण परिषद– NCERT ने 16 दिसंबर को देशभर में NCERT प्रकाशनों की सस्ती और निर्बाध उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए ई-कॉमर्स प्लेटफॉर्म के साथ एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किया है।

➼ The government has launched the 'Credit Guarantee Scheme for eNWR based Pledge Financing' . Under this scheme, farmers will now be able to get loans through their produce. 
सरकार ने ‘eNWR आधारित प्रतिज्ञा वित्त-पोषण के लिए ऋण गारंटी योजना’ शुरू की है। इस योजना के तहत, किसान अब अपनी उपज के माध्यम से ऋण प्राप्त कर सकेंगे।

➼ According to the Education Ministry, the government will develop 620 ' Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas' under the ' PM Shri Yojana' , which aims to strengthen the infrastructure and other facilities in existing schools.
शिक्षा मंत्रालय के अनुसार सरकार ‘पीएम श्री योजना’(PM Shri Yojana) के अंतर्गत 620 ‘जवाहर नवोदय विद्यालय’ विकसित करेगी, जिसका उद्देश्य मौजूदा विद्यालयों में बुनियादी ढांचे और अन्य सुविधाओं को सुदृढ़ करना है।

➼ 'National Horse Day' is celebrated every year on 13 December in India . The main objective of this day is to promote respect and love for horses, this day is celebrated to explain the life of horses, their conservation, and their human contribution.

➼ Indian Grandmaster ' D Gukesh' has achieved a new milestone in the world of chess. He has created history by becoming the youngest World Chess Champion by defeating Chinese Grandmaster Ding Liren in the 14th game.
भारतीय ग्रैंडमास्टर ‘डी गुकेश’ (D Gukesh) ने चेस की दुनिया में एक नई उपलब्धि हासिल की है। उन्होंने 14वें गेम में चीन के ग्रैंडमास्टर डिंग लिरेन को हराकर सबसे कम उम्र में विश्व चेस चैंपियन बनने का इतिहास रच दिया है।

➼ Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate development projects worth Rs 7,000 crore before the Maha Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj on December 13. These projects include the construction of ten new roads, over bridges, flyovers, permanent ghats and riverside roads.
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 13 दिसंबर को प्रयागराज में महाकुंभ मेले से पहले सात हजार करोड़ रुपये की विकास परियोजनाओं का उद्घाटन करेंगे। इन परियोजनाओं में दस नई सड़क, ओवर ब्रिज, फलाईओवर, स्‍थायी घाटों और नदी किनारे सड़कों का निर्माण कार्य शामिल हैं। 

➼ The Indian Army's Vajra Corps is celebrating Vijay Diwas in Amritsar from December 13. Vijay Diwas is celebrated to commemorate the victory in the 1971 war against Pakistan on December 16. It was after this war that independent Bangladesh emerged.
भारतीय सेना की वज्र कोर 13 दिसंबर से अमृतसर में विजय दिवस मना रही है। विजय दिवस पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ 1971 के युद्ध में 16 दिसंबर को मिली जीत के उपलक्ष्य में मनाया जाता है। इस युद्ध के बाद ही स्वतंत्र बांग्लादेश का उदय हुआ था।

➼ External Affairs Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar will co-chair the 15th India-UAE Joint Commission meeting  with UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan on 13 December in New Delhi .

➼ Recently, the 'Indian Light Tank' has achieved a major milestone by firing accurately at various ranges at an altitude of more than 4 thousand 200 meters. It has been designed and developed by the Combat Vehicle Research and Development Establishment in the Chennai-based DRDO laboratory.
हाल ही में ‘भारतीय लाइट टैंक’ ने 4 हजार 200 मीटर से अधिक की ऊंचाई पर विभिन्न रेंजों पर अचूक गोलाबारी कर बड़ी उपलब्धि हासिल की है। इसे चेन्‍नई स्थित DRDO की प्रयोगशाला में लड़ाकू वाहन अनुसंधान और विकास प्रतिष्ठान ने डिजाइन और विकसित किया है।

➼ The grand finale of the 7th edition of Smart India Hackathon was held on 12 December at the National Institute of Technology-NIT Srinagar. NIT Srinagar, one of the 51 nodal centers across the country, hosted the grand finale for the first time. 
स्मार्ट इंडिया हैकाथॉन (Smart India Hackathon) के 7वें संस्करण का ग्रैंड फिनाले 12 दिसंबर को श्रीनगर स्थित राष्ट्रीय प्रौद्योगिकी संस्थान-NIT में संपन्न हुआ है। वहीं देशभर के 51 नोडल केंद्रों में से एक NIT श्रीनगर ने ग्रैंड फिनाले की पहली बार मेजबानी की है।

➼ According to the data released by the Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation, retail inflation in the country has decreased in the month of November this year. The retail inflation rate has come down from 6.2 percent in the previous month to 5.4 percent in November.
‘सांख्यिकी और कार्यक्रम कार्यान्वयन मंत्रालय’ द्वारा जारी आंकडों के अनुसार देश में खुदरा मुद्रास्‍फीति में इस वर्ष नवंबर महीने में कमी आई है। खुदरा मुद्रास्फीति दर पिछले महीने के 6.2 प्रतिशत से घटकर नवंबर में 5.4 प्रतिशत हो गयी है।

➼ Sri Lankan President ' Anura Kumara Dissanayake' will visit India on a two-day official visit from 15 to 17 December. 
श्रीलंका के राष्ट्रपति ‘अनुरा कुमार दिसानायके’ 15 से 17 दिसंबर तक भारत की दो दिवसीय आधिकारिक यात्रा पर आएंगे। 

➼ Recently the International Football Federation (FIFA) has announced that Saudi Arabia will host the ' Men's Football World Cup' in the year 2034 , whereas Spain, Portugal and Morocco will jointly host the World Cup in the year 2030.
हाल ही में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल महासंघ (FIFA) ने घोषणा की है कि वर्ष 2034 में ‘पुरुष फुटबॉल विश्व कप’ की मेजबानी सऊदी अरब करेगा, जबकि स्पेन, पुर्तगाल और मोरक्को संयुक्त रूप से वर्ष 2030 में विश्व कप की मेजबानी करेंगे।

➼ Khelo India Winter Games-2025 will be held in two different phases in Ladakh and Jammu and Kashmir. Snow sports competitions like ice hockey and ice skating will be held in the Union Territory of Ladakh from January 23 to 27. While snow sports competitions like alpine skiing, Nordic skiing, ski mountaineering and snowboarding will be held in Jammu and Kashmir from January 22 to 25.
खेलो इंडिया शीतकालीन खेलकूद-2025 (Khelo India Winter Games) लद्दाख और जम्मू-कश्मीर में दो अलग-अलग चरणों में होंगे। आइस हॉकी और आइस स्केटिंग जैसी बर्फ पर खेली जाने वाली प्रतियोगिताएं केंद्र शासित प्रदेश लद्दाख में 23 से 27 जनवरी तक आयोजित होंगी। जबकि जम्मू और कश्मीर में 22 से 25 जनवरी तक अल्पाइन स्कीइंग, नॉर्डिक स्कीइंग, स्की पर्वतारोहण और स्नोबोर्डिंग जैसी बर्फ पर खेली जाने वाली प्रतियोगिताओं का आयोजन किया जाएगा।

➼ In order to manage overall food security and prevent hoarding, the Central Government has reduced the wheat storage limit for traders, wholesalers and retailers across all States and Union Territories . The wheat storage limit for traders and wholesalers has been reduced from 2,000 MT to 1,000 MT, while for retailers the limit has been reduced from 10 MT to 5 MT.
समग्र खाद्य सुरक्षा का प्रबंधन करने और जमाखोरी रोकने के लिए, केंद्र सरकार ने सभी राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों में व्यापारियों, थोक और खुदरा विक्रेताओं के लिए गेहूं के भंडारण की सीमा घटा दी है। व्यापारियों और थोक विक्रेताओं के लिए गेहूं की भंडारण सीमा 2,000 मीट्रिक टन से घटाकर 1,000 मीट्रिक टन कर दी गई है, जबकि खुदरा विक्रेताओं के लिए यह सीमा 10 मीट्रिक टन से घटाकर 5 मीट्रिक टन कर दी गई है।

➼ Food Safety and Standards Authority of India -FSSAI has made it mandatory to display nutritional information about added sugar, salt and fat in bold and bold letters on the packets of packaged food items.
भारतीय खाद्य सुरक्षा एवं मानक प्राधिकरण-FSSAI ने पैकेट बंद खाद्य पदार्थों के पैकटों पर मोटे और बड़े अक्षरों में अतिरिक्त चीनी, नमक और वसा के बारे में पोषण संबंधी जानकारी दर्शाना अनिवार्य कर दिया है।

➼ Every year on December 11, International Mountain Day is celebrated all over the world. This day is dedicated to spreading awareness among people about the protection of mountains and their importance, it was started by  the United Nations in 2003.
हर वर्ष 11 दिसंबर को दुनियाभर में अंतर्राष्ट्रीय पर्वत दिवस मनाया जाता है। यह दिवस पर्वतों की सुरक्षा और उनकी महत्ता को लेकर लोगों में जागरूकता फैलाने के लिए समर्पित है, इसे 2003 में संयुक्त राष्ट्र द्वारा शुरू किया गया था। 

➼ President Draupadi Murmu will present the ' National Panchayat Award 2024' at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi on December 11. This year a total of 45 persons have been selected for the award in various categories.
राष्‍ट्रपति द्रौपदी मुर्मु 11 दिसंबर को नई दिल्‍ली के विज्ञान भवन में ‘राष्‍ट्रीय पंचायत पुरस्‍कार’ (National Panchayat Award 2024) प्रदान करेंगी। इस वर्ष विभिन्‍न श्रेणियों में कुल 45 व्यक्तियों को पुरस्‍कार के लिए चुना गया है।

➼ In the ' Common University Entrance Test' (CUET) to be conducted for admission to undergraduate courses from the year 2025, students will be allowed to take any subject other than the subjects studied in class 12. This exam will be conducted through computer in 63 subjects instead of 37.
वर्ष 2025 से स्‍नातक पाठ्यक्रम में प्रवेश के लिए आयोजित होने वाली ‘सामान्‍य विश्‍वविद्यालय प्रवेश परीक्षा’ (CUET) में छात्रों को कक्षा 12 में पढ़े गए विषयों के अलावा कोई भी विषय लेने की छूट होगी। यह परीक्षा कम्‍प्‍यूटर के माध्‍यम से 37 के बजाय 63 विषयों में आयोजित की जाएगी।

➼ The Appointments Committee of the Union Cabinet has given additional charge of the post of Secretary of the Department of Revenue to Economic Affairs Secretary ' Ajay Seth' with immediate effect.
केंद्रीय मंत्रिमण्‍डल की नियुक्ति समिति ने आर्थिक मामलों के सचिव ‘अजय सेठ’ को तत्काल प्रभाव से राजस्व विभाग के सचिव पद का अतिरिक्त प्रभार सौंपा है।

➼ Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release a collection of the complete works of great Tamil poet and freedom fighter C. Subramania Bharati  at his residence in New Delhi on December 11 .
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 11 दिसंबर को नई दिल्ली में अपने आवास पर महान तमिल कवि और स्वतंत्रता सेनानी ‘सुब्रमण्यम भारती’ (C. Subramania Bharati) की संपूर्ण रचनाओं का संग्रह जारी करेंगे। 

➼ To provide equal access to all research articles, the 'One Country-One Fee Scheme' will start from the year 2025. Let us tell you that the government will pay a unified subscription fee to international publishers for their research publications. Till now every institution has to pay for the subscription of these research publications on its own.
सभी शोध लेखों को समान पहुँच प्रदान करने के लिए‘एक देश-एक शुल्‍क योजना’ वर्ष 2025 से शुरू होगी। बता दें कि सरकार अंतरराष्ट्रीय प्रकाशकों को उनके शोध प्रकाशनों के लिए एकीकृत सदस्यता शुल्क का भुगतान करेगी। अब तक प्रत्येक संस्थान को इन शोध प्रकाशनों की सदस्‍यता के लिए स्‍वयं भुगतान करना होता है।

➼ In India , there has been a significant increase in  the female labour force participation rate in rural areas from the year 2017-18 to the year 2022-23 .
भारत में वर्ष 2017-18 से वर्ष 2022-23 तक ग्रामीण क्षेत्रों में महिला श्रम शक्ति भागीदारी दर में उल्‍लेखनीय वृद्धि दर्ज की गई है। 

➼ Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan released the work of eminent Hindi writer ' Vishnukant Shastri ' in New Delhi on 10 December. It has been published by Sahitya Akademi.
केंद्रीय शिक्षा मंत्री धर्मेंद्र प्रधान ने 10 दिसंबर को नई दिल्ली में हिंदी के प्रतिष्ठित लेखक ‘विष्णुकांत शास्त्री’ (Vishnukant Shastri) की रचना का विमोचन किया है। इसका प्रकाशन साहित्‍य अकादमी ने किया है।

➼ The opposition has moved a no-confidence motion against Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar, accusing him of adopting a partisan attitude in the functioning of the House.
विपक्ष ने राज्यसभा के सभापति ‘जगदीप धनखड़’ (Jagdeep Dhankhar) पर सदन के कामकाज में पक्षपातपूर्ण रवैया अपनाने का आरोप लगाते हुए उनके खिलाफ अविश्वास प्रस्ताव पेश किया है।
