I heard this many times on various platforms that the holy flag at the top of the Lord Jagannath's Temple moves against wind direction, but never posted it because there was no proof but today this video came to my notice, and yes now I believe those claims.

If any Odia here can confirm that this happens all time or just some rare moment thing?

Jonas Trinkunas a leading founder and priest of modern-day Romuva, performed marriages in the same manner as Hindu Vedic weddings. Mantras and chants were recited and the couple took vows after doing rounds of the fire.

He even claimed that Rajputs were the ancestors of a Romuva tribe that once ruled Lithuania for many years and some of their ancient practices are even practiced today.

Some similarities between both cultures -

• Baltic ( Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania) culture is called the Darna, which means ”harmony”. It is identical to the Sanskrit “Dharma” धर्म which in the Vedic world defines harmony at the cosmic level.

•Traditionally, the people of Lithuania worshipped the Asvieniai, the Divine horse twins related to the Goddess Ūsinis (Usha meaning Dawn), they are said to pull the Sun Chariot through the sky. Now as you know in Vedic culture Suryadev's horse is pulled by 7 horses, Ashvini is one of Surya's Son, Usha (the dawn) is mentioned as his wife.

Lithuania’s Vedic connection

Of all the European nations, Lithuania held on to its traditional religion the longest. Nearly 1,000 years after the Roman Empire had embraced Christianity, Lithuanians continued to perform their ancient rituals and keep the sacred fires (Ugnė, Skt. Agni अग्नि) burning.

Romuva community is a neo-pagan movement derived from the traditional mythology of the Lithuanians, attempting to reconstruct the religious rituals of the Lithuanians before their Christianization in 1387.

The above image which is almost swastik is the adopted symbol of Romuva religion.

Mysore Dussehra festival is one of the oldest dussehra festival in Bharat. This year it completed its 412th anniversary, while evidence suggests the festivities were observed in Karnataka state by the Vijayanagara Empire kings in the 15th century and it is still continuing.

Let me tell you about one of the biggest attraction of the Mysore dussehra - 'The Golden Throne'

Bodhidharma went to Shaolin Temple but when he set out to instruct chinese on his rigorous meditation techniques, which he thought to be the key to
enlightenment, he realised that the monks' poor health prevented them from focusing their attention as required

As a result, he devised a series of exercises to help strengthen their bodies which were the foundation of Kung Fu. These techniques later became more advanced and can be seen as those of stars like Bruce Lee
