🇯🇵 Japan Airlines is giving away free tickets to lighten the tourist load in Tokyo

The Japanese airline Japan Airlines has started giving away free tickets for domestic flights to reduce the pressure on Tokyo and draw attention to lesser-known regions of the country.

However, experts warn that this could lead to an increase in tourist traffic to the capital, as many will still seek to visit Tokyo after traveling to other cities.

Telegram creator Pavel Durov has been arrested by French government. Russian and American governments once tried to do this, only because Telegram was, is and will be a platform where real freedom of speech is possible and because Durov refused to leak user data. Now, when he implemented his blockchain into the system, he made us, users, even more independent from governments. And all I can do now is say - Pavel fought for our rights and freedoms, so let's all fight for Pavel together now ✈️ #FREEDUROV

Hello, friends! Today I'm sharing a project about a "floating city" in the Maldives 🏡 This is Waterstudio's architectural response to the issue of rising global sea levels.

According to the designers, all 5000 low-rise houses will be located on floating hexagonal structures that will rise with the sea 🌊 The buildings' foundations are modeled after the geometric shapes of local coral, and to encourage the natural growth of this ecosystem, architects will place coral reefs at the bottom of the structures.

The architects propose to build the project in a lagoon in the Indian Ocean, not far from the capital of the island nation. The team hopes that around 20,000 residents will be able to move to the floating city by 2024, with the full completion of the project planned for 2027.

Let me know in the comments, would you like to live in such a house?

The most beautiful public toilet in the world looks like this

It is located in Norway, in the rest area of Uredd (or Ureddplassen), surrounded by the sea and fjords. From the toilet, you can observe the Northern Lights in winter and see the midnight sun in summer. Benches made of Norwegian pink marble are installed near the building, and steps lead towards the shore.

It's not great on the inside, but at the very least, his appearance is top-notch.This is not just a toilet. It is a place where one can truly contemplate deeply about the mysteries of the Universe and the meaning of life in solitude 🙃

🇪🇺 The European Union will stop admitting holders of non-biometric passports.

The new Entry/Exit System (EES) for the EU will be operational in the second half of 2024.

✔️ The main advantage of the EES is time-saving. The new system replaces passport stamping and automates border control procedures.

✔️ Border crossing can be done through special turnstiles by scanning passports. However, border guards may still be involved by asking additional questions.

✔️ The new system requires the mandatory possession of a biometric passport.

Taxi at your price 🚕

Hello, friends! Today I will tell you about an interesting taxi app called InDriver

Passengers and drivers themselves manage the main parameters of the trip: the passenger specifies the price they are willing to pay for the trip, and drivers decide whether to accept this offer or propose a price they would agree to.

I used this app in Kazakhstan when I needed to travel from southern Kazakhstan to the airport in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. I quickly found a driver who agreed to my price 💲 (which was significantly lower than what a regular taxi app was quoting me), and at the specified time, I got into the car and comfortably reached my destination.

As far as I know, it operates in countries such as Egypt, India, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, and Mexico, but it may work in other countries as well. It is an international passenger transportation service that works on a decentralized model.

It's worth mentioning that trips can be made within one city or over long distances - between cities and sometimes even between countries if they are close enough.

Ranking of the Happiest Countries in the World 2023

Below is the ranking of the happiest countries, based on extensive research of citizen opinions, analysis of socio-economic factors, and living conditions.

1️⃣ Finland. For the second year in a row, this country tops the list of the happiest countries. This is evidenced by high levels of social equality, a quality education system, and accessible healthcare.

2️⃣ Denmark. Remains a stable leader in happiness due to its care for the well-being of its citizens and investments in quality education and social welfare.

3️⃣ Switzerland. Holds an honorable third place in the ranking. Switzerland excels in many aspects: high income levels, quality healthcare, and unique nature.

4️⃣ Norway. While dropping one position from last year, it remains one of the happiest countries in the world. It prides itself on its nature, quality of life, and developed social support system.

5️⃣ Sweden. Rounds up the top five happiest countries in the world. Social support stability, diverse self-development opportunities, and openness to intercultural exchange make Sweden one of the best places to live.

☝️ However, it's important to remember that happiness is a subjective concept, and each person may find it in different places around the world. Regardless of a country's ranking, the most important thing is to do everything possible to make our environment a happier and more prosperous place for everyone.

How does the number of rooms affect comfort?

When choosing a hotel, always consider the total number of rooms, as this parameter determines your peace and relaxation.

200-300 rooms are ideal for a quiet and peaceful experience.

If the number of rooms is more there is a chance of ending up in a "hive" with constant queues, crowds of people at breakfast, and lack of attention from the staff.

To have a quality rest, always pay attention to such seemingly small details.
