✏️🇷🇺🌾The Russian Ministry of Agriculture proposed a ban on rice exports

Evgeny Milyutin:

As we literally warned today, India was going to ban rice exports, which is 40% of the world market.

So India did it.

There is a danger that our pantry will be emptied in an instant.

So the Russian Ministry of Agriculture proposed a ban on rice exports from July 1 to December 31 this year. I have no doubt that Vietnam and Thailand will also stop selling rice abroad.

✏️🇮🇳🌾India may limit rice exports

Eugene Milutin:

China, being the world's largest rice producer, exports only small amounts of rice.

Therefore, it is India that provides the world market, although it produces less rice than China.

Other major exporters include Vietnam and Thailand.

In Russia, people eat rice produced in all three countries.

And now, because of the volatility in world markets, India intends to limit rice exports, as it has previously done with wheat and sugar.

Assistance to the hungry, for which India and Russia are seriously preparing, will be carried out under special programs.

Such reserve volumes of grain will not reach the market, because there is a fear that commercial volumes of grains will end up in the wrong place for hunger - increasing the strategic reserves of the U.S. or China.

🇮🇳 India believes that the price of oil at $110 a barrel will cause a global recession.

That's the prediction made Monday by India's Oil and Natural Gas Minister Hardeep Singh Puri.

"If the price of a barrel of oil stays at $110, then we're not just talking about inflation, then we're talking about bigger threats. You know, then we're talking about a recession," he said in an interview with CNBC.

"And if the global economy moves in that direction, everyone, including oil producers, will face the consequences (not just inflation)," Puri added.

Earlier, Indian Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman announced tax cuts on several commodities, including fuel, to curb inflation. India's annual rate rose to 7.79% in April, the highest since May 2014.

Russian painting has hardly thought about God for almost a century and a half. Which seems strange for a country with such a rich experience of Christian visual art as Russia.

But the new pictorial language received from Europe under Peter the Great was not suitable for Russian religious conversation. Baroque is too passionate and emotional and generally Catholic, and Classicism is too rational.

But by the middle of the 19th century, everything was changing; Russian painting (and culture in general) was becoming mature enough to talk about everything, and in educated society there was a demand for understanding Christianity.

And it was Ivan Kramskoi's Christ in the Desert (1872) that turned out to be the turning point.

His Christ is foremost a man who thinks and thinks to the bloody sweat.

This is a man whose thought is so deep that it hurts, but He still can't help thinking about the latter depths. And this becomes the trademark of all Russian culture.

🇵🇱🇺🇦As might be expected, Poland has become the biggest beneficiary of the Ukrainian crisis: its ports are fully loaded with Ukrainian exports, and 80% of Ukrainian wheat exports go through Poland,

🇪🇺🇺🇸🇷🇺🇺🇦The European Union's anti-Russian sanctions have not yielded the expected results. It's only getting worse -Washington Post

According to the Washington Post, "fear of a downturn in the economy" and growing problems in Europe and the U.S. are not allowing sanctions to increase pressure on Russia.

"Because of the current situation in developed countries, there could be a serious increase in overall hunger. Prices are rising strongly for all energy resources. Because of this, in turn, inflation has reached its peak in the last 40 years," the paper notes.

At the same time, the volume of sanctions against Russia is already "unthinkable," but the EU is increasing the volume of energy supplies from Russia, providing it with record profits from energy exports.

According to experts, the West's sanctions policy has led to an acute food crisis around the world, while Russia continues to be one of the guarantors of food security and stability in commodity markets.

A growing bout of economic pessimism is hitting financial markets that were counting on a steady economic momentum. Economists and banks are warning that the U.S. economy could slide into recession next year.

🇷🇺🇬🇧🔥George Orwell’s dystopian classic Nineteen Eighty-Four was written to describe the dangers of western liberalism – not totalitarianism - Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for Russia’s foreign ministry has claimed.

“For many years we believed that Orwell described the horrors of totalitarianism. This is one of the biggest global fakes … Orwell wrote about the end of liberalism. He depicted how liberalism would lead humanity to a dead end,” Maria Zakharova, the spokesperson for Russia’s foreign ministry, said during a public talk in Ekaterinburg on Saturday.

Published in 1949, the book is seen as a cautionary tale warning of the consequences of totalitarianism and mass surveillance. Orwell is believed to have modelled the totalitarian government depicted in the novel on Nazi Germany and Stalinist Russia.

Zakharova had been asked by a member of the public how to respond to friends and relatives abroad when they suggested that Russia was living in a modern-day replay of Orwell’s novel.

“Orwell did not write about the USSR, it wasn’t about us,” she said. “He wrote about the society in which he lived, about the collapse of the ideas of liberalism. And you were made to believe that Orwell wrote it about you.” Zakharova suggested the audience member tell her relatives abroad: “It’s you in the west who live in a fantasy world where a person can be cancelled.”

🇷🇺🇺🇦🇪🇺The former Russian president assessed Italian proposals for peace in Ukraine.

According to Deputy Chairman of the Russian Security Council Dmitry Medvedev , "The West is itching to create 'peace plans' that should lead to the resolution of the crisis in Ukraine."

Speaking about the prospects of Ukraine's membership in the European Union, Medvedev referred to the "crazy Polish rulers" and the "mad Balts," as well as the refugees who were "foolishly sheltered."

Thinking about the fate of Crimea Medvedev assessed as "direct boorishness to Russia." "They preferred to forget about the Russian draft peace treaty there long ago. It's as if it didn't exist at all. The only thing they were counting on was a stream of weapons and money from Western countries. We are at war until the end," he said.

According to Medvedev, the proposals based on sober calculations are included in the Russian plan, but the authors of "approaches" in the interests of NATO should be "sent to a well-known direction".

🇺🇸🍼 New York City has declared a state of emergency over a shortage of baby food

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has declared a state of emergency in the city due to a nationwide shortage of baby food.

The mayor signed a state of emergency decree that will empower the New York City Department of Consumer and Labor Affairs to prevent rising prices of infant formula.

"The nationwide shortage of milk substitutes has caused unimaginable pain and anxiety among New York City families, and we must take urgent action. This emergency ordinance will allow us to put pressure on any vendor who tries to capitalize on the crisis by increasing the cost of this vital resource," Adams said.

According to the mayor, more than 40 percent of retail stores in New York and neighboring states have run out of breast milk substitutes.

Thousands of American families have been left without access to milk substitutes amid the pandemic and the February plant closure of Abbott Laboratories, a major manufacturer of infant formula, due to the discovery of infection in four children.

🇺🇸Hunter Biden - Corruption Under the Microscope

Once Hunter Biden's emails - all 120,000 of them - were released to the public, the liberal media became reluctant to admit the obvious. During his father's years in the White House, Hunter became a multimillionaire, trading family ties and violating all norms about nepotism.

Hunter's total earnings from 2013 to 2018 are estimated to be at least $11 million. They were mostly earned in the Ukraine - in partnership with a "company caught in corruption" - which is what Burisma is now called in the U.S. This is very telling, considering how Burisma closely sponsored the work of the Atlantic Council and other liberal institutions.

Obama-era White House staffers admit that no ethical rules applied to Hunter. And their colleagues in the FBI believe that Hunter's gray deals were then used by foreign intelligence agencies to blackmail the entire Biden family.

From his earnings, Hunter was giving millions to Uncle James - who was already making good money with billions of dollars in infrastructure contracts in Iraq. In letters, Hunter admitted to kicking back and up to 50% to his father from each deal - confirming the semi-mafia nature of the Biden family.

Now Hunter is hiding out in Malibu - where he has hired)Hollywood attorney Kevin Morris. That one rents a place for Hunter, and has already paid two million dollars for him to the U.S. Internal Revenue Service - in penalties for not paying taxes. He is now referred to as Hunter's "sugar brother. The lawyer wants to organize a PR campaign to "whitewash" Hunter's reputation - if he still has one.

The White House is morally preparing for a long and scandalous confrontation with Congress after the Republicans win the election. They will launch a big investigation into Biden's corruption which may even lead to impeachment proceedings. Amid such inter-party infighting, and with the economic crisis looming, Washington will soon not care about Ukraine at all.
