KIMS ; KIMS Hospitals entering into a strategic partnership with Ushahkal Abhinav Institute of Medical Sciences (UAIMS Hospital), Sangli, Maharashtra.


KIMS ; Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Limited (KIMS) has taken over the operations of UAIMS Hospital in Sangli, Maharashtra, with an option to acquire a majority stake in the future. The new entity will be known as KIMS-UAIMS Hospital.

This move aligns with KIMS' strategy to expand its presence in Maharashtra, following its previous acquisitions in Nagpur and Nashik, and the upcoming 300-bed hospital in Thane.

UAIMS Hospital, established in 2022, is a leading quaternary care facility in Sangli, Maharashtra, with 356 beds and potential to expand to 500+. It offers advanced infrastructure, including CT, MRI, 15 operation theatres, and a dedicated mother & child care unit.

The hospital focuses on critical care with over 100 critical care beds. A day care oncology center, set to open in 2025, is under construction.
