➼ Senior Indian Administrative Service officer ' Dr. T.V. Somanathan' has taken charge as the new Cabinet Secretary. 
भारतीय प्रशासनिक सेवा के वरिष्‍ठ अधिकारी ‘डॉ. टी.वी. सोमनाथन’ ने नए कैबिनेट सचिव के रूप में पदभार संभाला है।

➼ Indian shooter ' Avani Lekhara' has won the gold medal in the 10m Air Rifle Standing SH-1. 
भारतीय निशानेबाज ‘अवनी लेखरा’ ने दस मीटर एयर राइफल स्‍टेंडिंग एसएच-1 में स्‍वर्ण पदक जीता है।

➼ Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the two-day National Conference of District Level Judicial Officers in New Delhi on August 31 .
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी ने 31 अगस्त को ‘नई दिल्ली’ में जिला स्‍तरीय न्‍यायिक अधिकारियों के दो दिवसीय राष्ट्रीय सम्मेलन का उद्घाटन किया।

➼ India's 'Aarti' has won the bronze medal in the women's 10,000 meter walk event in the World Under-20 Athletics Championship.  
भारत की ‘आरती’ ने विश्व अंडर-20 एथलेटिक्स चैंपियनशिप में महिलाओं की 10 हजार मीटर पैदल चाल स्पर्धा का कांस्य पदक जीता है।

➼ Nepal Tourism Board has received the Gold Award of ' Pacific Asia Travel Association'. This award has been given in the category of sustainable tourism for the livelihood improvement project. 
नेपाल पर्यटन बोर्ड को ‘पेसिफिक एशिया ट्रैवल एसोसिएशन’ का स्‍वर्ण पुरस्‍कार मिला है। यह पुरस्‍कार जीविका सुधार परियोजना के लिए टिकाऊ पर्यटन श्रेणी में दिया गया है।

➼ Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit ' Brunei' and ' Singapore' on a three-day visit on September 02 .
प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी 02 सितंबर को तीन दिन की यात्रा पर ‘ब्रुनेई’ और ‘सिंगापुर’ जाएंगे।

➼ India, Maldives, Mauritius and Sri Lanka have signed a Charter and a Memorandum of Understanding to establish the 'Colombo Security Conclave' Secretariat to address security and stability challenges in the Indian Ocean region.
भारत, मालदीव, मॉरीशस और श्रीलंका ने हिंद महासागर क्षेत्र में सुरक्षा और स्थिरता की चुनौतियों का समाधान करने के लिए ‘कोलंबो सुरक्षा कॉन्क्लेव’ (Colombo Security Conclave) सचिवालय की स्थापना के लिए चार्टर और एक समझौता ज्ञापन पर हस्ताक्षर किए हैं।

➼ The Indian Army launched the first phase of ' Project Naman' . It is designed to provide dedicated support and services to defense pensioners, distinguished soldiers and their families. 
भारतीय सेना ने ‘प्रोजेक्ट नमन’ का पहला चरण लॉन्च किया। बता दें कि इसे रक्षा पेंशनभोगियों, जाने-माने सैनिकों और उनके परिवारों को समर्पित सहायता और सेवाएं प्रदान करने के लिए डिज़ाइन किया गया है।

➼ In the 56th Executive Committee meeting of the 'National Clean Ganga Mission' held in New Delhi, 9 projects worth Rs 265 crore have been approved.
‘राष्ट्रीय स्वच्छ गंगा मिशन’ की नई दिल्‍ली में हुई 56वीं कार्यकारी समिति की बैठक में 265 करोड़ रुपये की 9 परियोजनाओं को मंजूरी दी गई है।

➼  For the academic year 2024-25, the central government has reserved four MBBS seats exclusively for families affected by terrorism.
2024-25 शैक्षणिक वर्ष के लिए, केंद्र सरकार ने विशेष रूप से आतंकवाद से प्रभावित परिवारों के लिए चार एमबीबीएस सीटें आरक्षित की हैं।

➼  The scheme for trading and settlement of Sovereign Green Bonds (SGrB) in IFSC was launched by the Reserve Bank of India.
आईएफएससी में सॉवरेन ग्रीन बॉन्ड (SGrB) के व्यापार और निपटान की योजना भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक द्वारा शुरू की गई।

➼  Indian Army launched Project Naman to aid ex-servicemen and their families.

➼  Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman recently inaugurated the GST Bhavan in Udaipur (Rajasthan) city.
