The Indian grey mongoose is known for fighting the king cobra, one of the deadliest snakes in the world. Mongooses come into fights with many different types of snakes, but cobras occupy a fairly high place on this list. Mongooses are largely immune to the venom of venomous snakes.

Despite their natural immunity to venom, mongooses who engage in battles with snakes may still face the risk of injury or even death. Many snakes, especially cobras, are much larger than mongooses and can withstand quite a serious fight. Even if a mongoose successfully defeats a snake, sometimes it can get hurt by eating it. Snake fangs can damage the mongoose's stomach or any other part of the digestive tract.

At the bottom of the Indian Ocean there is an unusual Jorunna parva - a sea slug that looks like a little rabbit!

This slug was first discovered in the waters off the Japanese coast in 1938, then it was forgotten about - and only with the advent of the Internet, photos and videos of this mollusk began to spread on the network. The Japanese were very interested in this wonderful sea slug, so similar to a fluffy rabbit.

The body of the slug is covered with small needle-like structures called spicules - it seems that it is covered with fur. Perhaps they play the role of sensitive sensors.

On the head of the slug there are two antennae, similar to the long ears of a rabbit - in fact, these are the sensory organs of a mollusk, whose task is to detect chemicals in the water, so that the slug can navigate and find food. There is a flower-shaped tail at the back, which is actually gills. The length of this "rabbit" is only 2.5 cm

Madagascar Comet (moon moth) Argema mittrei is a beautiful moth of the peacock–eyed family. This is one of the largest butterflies in the world. Its wingspan reaches 140-160 mm. It is also called Madagascar Saturnia.

The moon moth is even depicted on a banknote of 5000 Malagasy francs (ariari, the monetary unit of the state of Madagascar) of the 1995 model.

And about the sad. The oral organs of both females and males are reduced, the butterflies do not feed on anything and live off the nutrients accumulated in the caterpillar stage - thus these beautiful butterflies live for only 4-5 days.
