As we practice Sadhana, what is it that we must always keep in mind? Bhagawan reminds us today so that we may take stock of our spiritual journey!

Men engage themselves in many outward sadhana (spiritual practices). These must be internalised. All scholarship is of no avail if there is no realisation in the heart. A scholar may expound the texts, but lack the internal experience. One who has mastered the Vedas may be able to explain the words, but cannot recognise the Veda Purusha, the Supreme Person hailed by the Vedas. When a person goes to a temple, he closes his eyes in front of the idol, because what he seeks is an internal vision of God and not a sight of the external form of the idol. God is Omnipresent as proclaimed in the Geetha. God is One, though names and forms may differ. All education today is related to the physical world. It will not serve to reveal the Divine. It was this which impelled Shankaracharya to teach a scholar who was learning by rote Panini's grammar that at the moment of death, only the Lord's name (Govinda) would save him and not the rules of grammar.

- Divine Discourse, Oct 09, 1994.

All branches of learning are like the rivers. The spiritual learning is like the ocean. - #SriSathyaSai

Forever Yours | Gratitude Program by the Students of X & XII classes from Eswaramma High School | Jan 29, 2025

Mother Eswaramma’s selfless wish was to establish a school in Puttaparthi, moved by the struggles of young children walking long distances for education. Swami, in His boundless love, fulfilled this vision by founding Smt. Eswaramma High School in 1973. Marking a historic milestone, the school celebrated its Golden Jubilee in 2023, and this year witnessed its first graduating Class 12th batch.

The outgoing students of Classes X and XII offered a heartfelt program, 'From I to We to You', reflecting their journey of transformation and surrender at Swami’s divine feet. Through a garland of soulful songs, they expressed gratitude, seeking His guidance and blessings for the journey ahead.

In touching testimonials, students shared how Swami’s grace profoundly shaped their lives. One student recounted his transformation from self-centeredness to a life of service, while another narrated a miraculous recovery from a scorpion bite through Swami’s intervention. Their fluency in English today is a testament to Swami’s transformative love and His constant presence in their lives.

The boys concluded their offering with a vibrant dance, unveiling a beautiful depiction of Swami’s divine form, symbolizing His eternal presence. The girls, waving red and white hearts and balloons, joyfully celebrated His love that fills their lives with purpose and meaning.

A special tribute saw students presenting meticulously crafted swan and peacock-shaped cards at Swami’s lotus feet—a symbol of their devotion and creativity.

The evening concluded with Swami’s divine message, reaffirming His everlasting love for His students. This was followed by a prize distribution ceremony, where Sri RJ Rathnakar (Managing Trustee, SSSCT) & Smt Himavahni Rathnakar honoured the top rankers in their board exams, recognizing their dedication to excellence.

A night of gratitude, devotion, and divine blessings—etched forever in the hearts of all present.

Why is probing into Truth and seeking Truth the most important pursuit in life? Bhagawan lovingly explains for us today!

Man is afraid of probing into his own truth, lest his pet opinions and attitudes be proved hollow and dangerous. As a result, his actions and thoughts pursue disturbing and discordant paths. What exactly is Truth? Is it the description of a 'thing seen' as one has seen it, without exaggeration or understatement? No. Or is it the narration of an incident in the same word as one has heard it narrated? No. Truth elevates; it holds forth ideals; it inspires the individual and society. It is the light that illumines man's path to God. A life inspired by Truth will enable man to live as man - not degrade himself to the status of a lower species. From dawn to dusk, from the moment of wakefulness to the moment of sleep, if he devotes himself to his own deeds, is that a life inspired by the Truth? No. By his good thoughts translated into good words and manifested as good deeds, man must promote Truth in society and prove its usefulness. He is the image of God. He must be aware of the image of God that shines in society also.

- Divine Discourse, Dec 08, 1979.

The chief duty of man is investigation into Truth. Truth can be won only through dedication and devotion.- #SriSathyaSai

Gratitude Program by the X & XII Class Girls from Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School | Jan 28, 2025

The outgoing batch of students from Swami's primary school offered a loving and sincere gratitude program titled 'Our Lives - Thy Divine Script' in the divine presence this evening. Pouring their hearts out in a garland of melodious songs, they expressed their thankfulness for allowing them to be His precious Bangaroos, yearning to forever be worthy of His love.

As the girls reminisce on their 12-year journey in Swami's tender care, they reflect how Swami sculpted each of their lives with His divine presence, crafted their destinies with utmost care by teaching them that He is the director, and intently shaped each of their futures, in seen and unseen ways.

In their mother tongues, they spoke fervently about moments when Swami showed His divine presence and showered them with abundant grace. One student shared how Swami saved her father's life from a serious accident, while another shared how their mother's operation miraculously got cancelled after having Swami's darshan.

The analogy of life being a film, with Swami as the director, is profound and apt, signifying how He has lovingly guided and shaped each student’s path. With songs, red hearts, colorful ribbons, and the glow of LED lamps forming '100', the program resonated with the eternal bond between Swami and His students, beautifully reaffirming His words: “I am yours, and you are Mine.”

This program is not just a farewell; it’s a celebration of the timeless lessons imbibed and the unwavering confidence to step into the future as ideal instruments of Swami’s love and values, carrying forward the badge of being His precious Bangaroos.
