See the above scores Once π
(Those who scored well in 3 Subjects Except GK)
Everyone is claiming the results of 330+ scorers but no one wants to take the responsibility of those who got destroyed by Luck specially in GK despite scoring extremely well in Section 1 + English π.
Does anyone of you think that these students haven't studied GK properly as being implied on Some Social Media Platforms ??
Many of them have score 35-40 marks in GK in CGL 2024 PRE Exam and they studied from the same sources including the most famous ones for MAINS, but still couldn't score more than 30 marks.
The ones who focused on accuracy (as should be done as per previous trends of ssc exams) and attempted 12-13 ques only as much as were doable, they got less than 35 marks and hence despite scoring 160+ and 125+ in English, there total is less than 320 which is not enough for getting a Good post this time.
The ones who took risk in GK by using guessing techniques & tried their luck - Some of them got 45+ and Some got less than 25.
Does this mean that those who scored less, didn't study well ? or from the best available sources?
I leave the answer upto your logical capabilities π
The Reality is - This time GK Section was tougher than 2022 Mains and 2023 Mains. In the Exam environment, only 12-13 Ques seemed to be doable. Students who were not eligible for 2400/2800 Grade pay post due to age factor, felt forced to take risk and attempt more questions ignoring the accuracy.
Other sections weren't created well enough by SSC so as a brilliant student can take any defining lead in respect to an average student.
Hence, Scoring a Good total became totally dependent on Luck Factor in GS and everyone has to understand this instead of blaming students π
To all the students who felt the sting of bad luck in the GK section -Sometimes, luck plays a significant role in success, and it's unfortunate that this time, it didn't go in your favor.
I may say that I can understand your pain, but it will be just a formality as only he, who has faced such a situation in his life, can understand the mental trauma caused due to this specially if it was your last attempt or your marriage/other important things were dependent on your selection in CGL 2024 MAINS due to financial conditions.
But I won't say that It was your fault / You haven't studied well / You haven't studied from the Best Sources etc.
Let's not forget that exams like SSC are a complex interplay of factors, including luck, strategy, and preparation. It's unfair to solely attribute a student's performance to their preparation or lack thereof.
Let's focus on uplifting and supporting each other. You are more than your exam results, and your worth and abilities extend far beyond this one test.
Keep your heads held high if you have GIVEN YOUR BEST this time and don't give up on your dreams.
Appear for other exams too which have same syllabus as SSC like Railway NTPC/Group D etc.
I wish that Better days are ahead β€οΈ.
Good Luck for your future π€
