Take 5 minutes of your time to Read and Apply this to your daily routine

Picture this : You are sitting in your chair and you want to start your thing (may be studying etc). You started working on it, it's been a few minutes, then suddenly out of nowhere, that girl you saw flashes in your head or that song/tune you heard somewhere pierces it's way into your head or some random thought violates your concentration and you begin to suppress it, you want to remove it as it is just some rubbish thought you don't want at that moment. We all are facing this problem and I've found a way to solve it!

Get a piece of paper and a pen. Write your Goals. Write what you want to achieve as if you've already achieved it. It can be 10 or 20 or 30 write it down now. Make a daily reminder to read it twice in a day, it's better if you read it in the morning after you wake up and in the night before you sleep.
Wait this is not the main part, the main part comes now.
Remember the situation I talked about in the beginning, there will be hundreds of such situations in your life in a day. What should you do?
When you notice your brain thinking or just randomly playing something junk, catch it. Tell your brain to ignore it. Don't try too hard to permanently remove, you can't. Identify the trash thought. Now replace it with your Goal (what you want to achieve). Tell your goal to your mind as long as your brain shifts its attention towards something you're working on.

Let me give an example from my life :

I am in my chair, practicing my skill or simply sitting and suddenly an unnecessary tune plays in my head. What will I do? I identify it, then I tell my brain to ignore it and replace it with the thought I want. In this situation, I may tell myself, I am a man of focus. I dominate my day or something which I want to achieve, telling myself as if I've already achieved it. That small tune could hinder my concentration and make me lose the interest in what I am doing right now. I don't want that to happen. So, when you face a problem like this in a situation where your mind is just wandering somewhere, practice saying to yourself your Goals. This will eventually by practice with time makes your brain to think of the thoughts you feed and not think of any unnecessary thoughts. In a day we have approx 50 to 70k thoughts and trust me 99% of them are useless. The 1% is what your brain needs and by doing the above mentioned exercise, your brain will only think about the 1%
