On the last ball of the 14th over, Amelia Kerr hit to long-off, took a single, and attempted a second run but was run out. Both India and Kerr thought she was dismissed, but the fourth umpire intervened, calling it a dead ball.

Replays showed Kerr was far from making her ground when the fielder had the ball. Meanwhile, the square leg umpire was tying her laces, and India wasn’t happy Kerr was allowed to continue
