➨ क्रियोल भाषा में 'लैमितिये' का मतलब 'दोस्ती' होता है। 2001 से इसका आयोजन सेशेल्स में हो रहा है. इसी क्रम में इस साल यह इसका 10वां संयुक्त अभ्यास है.

8) केंद्रीय सूचना और प्रसारण मंत्री श्री अनुराग सिंह ठाकुर ने नई दिल्ली के राष्ट्रीय मीडिया केंद्र में एक कार्यक्रम में प्रसार भारती और डीडी न्यूज और आकाशवाणी समाचार की वेबसाइटों के साथ-साथ अपडेटेड न्यूज ऑन एयर मोबाइल ऐप की समाचार साझाकरण सेवा पीबी-एसएचएबीडी लॉन्च की।

1) Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde inaugurated India's first Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) powered bus, which will be operated by Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation.

3) Senior bureaucrat Rahul Singh has been appointed chairperson of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), as part of a senior-level bureaucratic reshuffle effected by the Centre.

4) IIT Jodhpur has developed a control system and design for a hybrid unmanned vehicle which can operate both in air and in water.
➨ Such vehicles are essential for tasks like mapping oil spills in seas, or underwater erosion and pollution dispersion.

5) The Election Commission of India (ECI) has announced Para Archer and Arjuna Awardee, Ms. Sheetal Devi, as the National Icon in the Persons with Disabilities (PwD) category.

6) Mumbai won the Ranji Trophy 2024 after beating Vidarbha by 169 runs at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai. It also happened to be their 42nd title for Mumbai.

7) The Indian Army contingent participated in a joint military exercise ‘Lamitiye-2024’ with Seychelles Defence Forces (SDF).
➨ The 'Lamitiye' joint military exercise is being conducted in Seychelles.
➨ 'Lamitiye' means 'Friendship' in Creole language. It has been organized in Seychelles since 2001. In this sequence, this is its 10th joint exercise this year.

8) Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Shri Anurag Singh Thakur launched PB-SHABD, a news sharing service from Prasar Bharati and websites of DD News and Akashvani News as well as updated News on Air mobile app at an event in National Media Centre, New Delhi.

11) Union Minister for Petroleum & Natural Gas, Hardeep Singh Puri launched 'ETHANOL 100,' a cutting-edge automotive fuel.

12) Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik inaugurated India's first indoor athletics and aquatic centres at the Kalinga stadium in Bhubaneshwar.

2) स्टेलेंटिस ब्रांड, फ्रांसीसी वाहन निर्माता सिट्रोएन ने लोकप्रिय भारतीय क्रिकेटर महेंद्र सिंह धोनी को अपना ब्रांड एंबेसडर बनाया है।

3) संजना सांघी को स्पेस इंडिया का ब्रांड एंबेसडर नियुक्त किया गया है। संजना सांघी एक उभरती हुई युवा बॉलीवुड स्टार और यूएनडीपी यूथ चैंपियन हैं।

9) बलराज पंवार ने दक्षिण कोरिया के चुंगजू में 2024 विश्व एशियाई और ओसियन ओलंपिक और पैरालिंपिक क्वालीफिकेशन रेगाटा की पुरुष एकल स्कल स्पर्धा में तीसरा स्थान हासिल करके नौकायन में भारत के लिए पहला पेरिस ओलंपिक कोटा हासिल किया।

10) एसएंडपी ग्लोबल मार्केट इंटेलिजेंस की रिपोर्ट के अनुसार, तीन भारतीय बैंकों, एसबीआई, एचडीएफसी बैंक और आईसीआईसीआई बैंक को एशिया-प्रशांत क्षेत्र के शीर्ष 50 बैंकों में शामिल किया गया है। सूची में एसबीआई को 20वां, एचडीएफसी बैंक को 33वां और आईसीआईसीआई बैंक को 48वां स्थान मिला है।

11) भारतीय टेनिस खिलाड़ी युकी भांबरी और उनके फ्रांसीसी साथी अल्बानो ओलिवेटी ने जर्मनी के म्यूनिख में आयोजित 2024 बीएमडब्ल्यू ओपन टेनिस टूर्नामेंट का खिताब जीता।

2) French automaker Citroen, a Stellantis brand, has signed in popular Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni as its brand ambassador.

3) Sanjana Sanghi has been appointed as Brand Ambassador of SPACE India. Sanjana Sanghi is a rising young Bollywood star and UNDP Youth Champion.

4) The Central Government has approved the appointment of Nidhi S Jain (IA&AS) as Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) of Cotton Corporation of India Limited (CCI).

5) North Korea tested a “super-large" cruise missile warhead and a new anti-aircraft missile in a western coastal area as it expands military capabilities in the face of deepening tensions with the United States and South Korea.

6) The black hole, named Gaia BH3, was discovered "by chance" from data collected by the European Space Agency's Gaia mission, an astronomer from the National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) at the Observatoire de Paris, Pasquale Panuzzo.

11) Indian tennis player Yuki Bhambri and his French partner Albano Olivetti won the 2024 BMW Open tennis tournament title held in Munich, Germany.

12) The Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi inaugurated the 2550th Bhagwan Mahavir Nirvan Mahotsav on the auspicious occasion of Mahavir Jayanti at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi.

13) Tamil Nadu has achieved a record breaking $9.56 billion in electronics exports in FY23-24. That formed nearly 33% of the total national share of electronics exports.
