This Gagan Mahal dates back to the 16th-century era. Although significant portions of this palace are currently under ruins, it is still amongst worthiest places to visit in Hampi.

The palace is small and yellow in color with decorated windows and encircled all over by four beautiful towers. Once here, you can march towards Sarovara Laxmi Temple, Sabari Caves, Nava Brindavana, Durga Temple, and other nearby religious places of importance.

It is best to visit here anywhere between October to March. However, take care that there is no public transport here to ride around.

​​Magod Falls

Situated at a distance of around 17 km from Yellapur in Karnataka, Magod Falls, also known as Magodu Falls is a group of waterfalls that cascade down a height of 200 m. The falls are formed when River Bedti falls down from the rocky cliffs. Known to be a popular picnic spot, the place is also frequented by photographers and nature lovers.

Located near Sathodi falls, these group of waterfalls are located in the Uttar Kannada district. The Magod fall goes dry during summers and appears misty in the monsoon season. It lies in between dense forest cover. There is no entry fee for visiting this spot, and it is open on all days of the week.

​​Sanganakallu

The Sanganakallu-Kupgal area is an ancient archaeological site and the excavations here have been dated to the Neolithic period, between 5,000 and 10,000 years ago. The Sanganakallu-Kupgal area is the location of one of the oldest village settlements discovered in Asia. The excavations are cantered around four hills that have shown evidence of inhabitation during the Neolithic period. Archaeologists have discovered that the area was a large center for the production of stone tools and implements as well as etched stone seals and inscriptions. The area also offers the opportunity to view rock art, ancient burial mounds, and unique ringing stones.

​​Harangi Dam, Coorg

An interesting tourist spot, Harangi dam is situated in the Hudgur village near Kushalnagar if Coorg District. Built across the tributary of River Cauvery, Harangi dam is the first dam that has been built across River Cauvery. It has a height of 47 meters and length of 846 meters creating a marvelous view of forceful streams of water.

Tipu Sultan constructed this watchtower to keep a lookout for the entry of warships into the Gurpur River. The battery, made from black stones had been given the look of a miniature fortress. The Madikeri Fort is a popular attraction in Coorg in Karnataka. Situated in the centre of Madikeri town, the majestic fort offers tourists insights into the history of Coorg. The elevated structures of the fort also provide panoramic views of the town.

This ancient fort was first constructed in the latter half of the seventeenth century by Muddu Raja, the ruler at the time, on the occasion of declaring Madikeri as the new capital of Coorg. Welcome to Daroji Sloth Bear Sanctuary. Locally known as KARADI, the Sloth Bear (Melursus Ursinus) lives in open scrub forests having outcrop of rocks, tumbled boulders and caves as shelter. Being more of vegetarian, it has choice fodd habits like consuming fruits, tubers, honey, insects and termites. But if it happens to live near human settlements, will not hesitate to add sugarcane and maize crops to its regular diet. It has a fond taste for Ber fruits and Mahuva (Madhuka latifolia) flowers. In a mischievous mood, a bear will also climb palm trees to steal toddy from collection pots. The second largest bird sanctuary after Ranganthittu Bird Sanctuary is bird sanctuary and wetland near Bonal village in the Shorapur taluk of Yadgir district. At least 21 species of birds visit the tank which is situated in a rural environment surrounded by rocky hillocks and irrigation rich agricultural fields.The migratory birds which frequent the sanctuary included purple heron, white-necked stork, white ibis, black ibis, brahminy duck, bar-headed goose, Indian shag, snake bird, purple moorhen, Indian moorhen, large egret, pond heron, and cattle egret. The Bonal tank was built by the Surpur king Raja Pam Naik in the 17th Century
