​🇮🇳 | In a move to bolster maritime and national security capablities, the Cabinet Commitee for Security has approved two major deals.

The building of 02 SSN - nuclear powered submarines for Indian Navy at cost of Rs 45,000 Cr. The ships will be built at either Vizag or Cochin shipyard.

Second deal for acquisition of 31 MQ-9B UCAV for USD 3.1 billion. 16 drones will be commissioned in the Indian Navy and rest will ve distributed amongst the remaining arms.

Something as indigestible as the news of the passing away of Ratan Tata ji came and has taken over the internet.

We wish him nothing less than peace and a good farewell. Man came, lived, loved and took India to a place where we would have reached in not less than decade without Ratan ji.

Thank you for your service to the nation. Your philanthropic acts have saved thousands and inspired millions. Your service towards animals tells us you were not just a man of steel but of tinder heart as well.

You gave us the dream of driving. Because of leaders like you a simple Indian can dream of driving and later flying. The list of your deeds are long so shall be the tears.

You were and always will be close to our heart. Without you India would be so not India.

Unfortunately this is a national loss and collectively we mourn for your departure.

May on the other side all the dogs you once gave service to await for you and run in your arms.

The Chandra Bhaga Mountain Expedition undertaken by IA aimed to recover the remains of personnel from the ill-fated IAF AN-12 aircraft which crashed on Rohtang Pass in 1968.

Until now 05 mortal remains of the brave soldiers have been recovered.

The mission was led by the Dogra Scouts of the Indian Army.

The opening ceremony of the 8th edition of joint military exercise between India and Kazakhstan, Exercise KAZIND 2024, was conducted today at Surya Foreign Training Node, Auli, Uttarakhand.

Exercise KAZIND 2024 is scheduled from 30 September to13 October 2024.

The Exercise aims to strengthen interoperability between the Indian Army and the Kazakhstan Army in conducting Sub-Conventional Operations under the UN Mandate.
