In a major breakthrough, Tarn Taran Police arrests Big Fish Shehnaz Singh @ Shawn Bhinder, a transnational drug lord wanted by the #FBI-#USA. He was a key player in a global narcotics syndicate, smuggling cocaine from #Colombia into the #USA and #Canada.

This operation follows the arrest of four of his associates in the U.S. on February 26, 2025, identified as:

1. Amritpal Singh @ Amrit @ Bal
2. Amritpal Singh @ Cheema
3. Takdir Singh @ Romy
4. Sarbsit Singh @ Sabi
5. Fernando Valladares @ FRANCO

During their arrests, USA authorities seized 391 Kg Methamphetamine, 109 Kg Cocaine, and four firearms from their residences and vehicles. After the crackdown, Shehnaz absconded to #India, where #PunjabPolice successfully tracked and arrested him.

ਸੀ.ਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਐਸ.ਐਸ.ਪੀਜ਼ ਨੂੰ ਇਸ ਓਪਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਦੀ ਧਿਆਨ ਨਾਲ ਯੋਜਨਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਦੀ ਹਦਾਇਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਸੀ।

✅ 400 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ 3000+ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਕਰਮਚਾਰੀਆ ਨੂੰ ਤਾਇਨਾਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

✅ 3868 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਦੀ ਚੈਕਿੰਗ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ 175 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਪੁੱਛਤਾਛ ਲਈ ਗ੍ਰਿਫਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ।

✅ 100 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੇਰੋਇਨ ਜ਼ਬਤ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ, 2 ਕ੍ਰਿਮਿਨਲ ਕੇਸ ਰਜਿਸਟਰ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

✅ 208 ਵਾਹਨਾਂ ਦਾ ਚਲਾਨ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ 14 ਵਾਹਨ ਜਬਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

In a major breakthrough, State Special Operation Cell (#SSOC), Mohali, arrests Sachindeep Singh @ Sachin s/o Baltej Singh r/o Village Dialpura, Ajnala, Amritsar, another operative of the Babar Khalsa International (BKI) module, involved in the Nanded, #Maharashtra murder case executed on February 10, 2025. The arrest has been made at IGI Airport, #NewDelhi

In a bid to escape the law, Sachindeep fled to Thailand, attempting to evade arrest. However, Punjab Police’s strategic efforts ensured his arrest at Delhi International Airport.

Preliminary investigation reveals that Sachindeep played a crucial role in BKI’s terror network, providing safe shelters, logistical support, and financial assistance to operatives working under the command of #Pak-based terrorist Harwinder Singh Rinda and #USA-based BKI operative Harpreet Singh @ Happy Passia.

Punjab Police carried out a special operation ‘OPS Seal-IX’ aimed at checking all the vehicles entering or exiting the interstate borders of Punjab in ten border districts to keep vigil around drug & liquor smugglers.

✅ Well-coordinated strong nakas involving over 1000 Police Personnel were set up at 84 entry/exit points
✅ 3938 vehicles entering/exiting the state were checked
✅ 471 were challaned and 11 were impounded

Apart from this, Cordon and search operation (#CASO) conducted at 687 locations.

✅ 250 police teams comprising over 2000 Police Personnel conducted raids
✅ 111 drug smugglers arrested
✅ 86 first information reports (FIRs) registered
✅ 787 suspicious persons checked
✅ 1.2 kg heroin, 9.8 kg opium, 3.3 kg ganja, 46 kg poppy husk, 7091 intoxicant capsules/tablets, 1.32 lakh drug money recovered

In a major intelligence-led breakthrough, Sri Muktsar Sahib Police has dismantled a drug network, seizing 10.5 Kg Opium and ₹35,000 drug proceeds.

Acting on crucial leads from arrested accused Raju s/o Balvir, FIR dated 06.03.25 was registered at PS Sadar Malout, leading to an initial recovery of 3.5 Kg Opium. Establishing backward linkages, our teams conducted a high-impact operation, recovering an additional 7 Kg Opium.

This operation is a significant blow to the drug trade. We are actively tracing the supply chain and apprehending key associates to dismantle the network.
