6. Sensex ended 712 points higher, or 0.92 percent, at 78,053.52 points
7. HDFCBank and Icicibank contributed almost 100 points to Nifty
8. HDFC Bank shares turn positive for 2024 after a 12% rally in a month
9. Among sectoral indices, Nifty Bank and Nifty Private Bank rose by 1.7 percent each
10. Among banking stocks, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank surged
11. On the other hand, Nifty Realty declined by 1.8 percent, with Nifty Metal and Nifty Media fell by 0.7 percent
12. FIIs turned net buyers as they bought equities worth Rs 1,175 crore
13. DIIs extended selling as they sold equities worth Rs 149 crore on the same day
14. US markets ended mixed on June 25
15. Dow lost 0.76%, Nasdaq rallied 1.26% and S&P500 gained 0.4%
16. Nasdaq erased the previous loss and Dow erased the previous gain
17. Nvidia ganed 7% and Fedex rises 14%
18. US 10-year yield nearly 4.25%
19. Crude sustained $85/bbl
20. Gold prices fall below $2320/oz
21. Asian markets were set to mixed in early morning
22. Nikkei up 1.4% and Hangseng down 0.15%
