Job Title: - Safety Officer
Experience Required
2–3 years in Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (HSE/EHS) preferably in manufacturing or oil, petroleum, chemical, gas, or industrial projects background.
Required Qualifications
Diploma/bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Professional safety qualification such as: Diploma in Industrial Safety or equivalent to this requirement
 
Job Responsibilities: -
·       Conduct regular workplace safety inspections and audits.
·       Identify hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
·       Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and company HSE policies.
·       Monitor the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
·       Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs.
·       Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-miss events and prepare reports.
·       Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation.
·       Support emergency preparedness and response activities.
·       Monitor contractor safety performance and compliance.
·       Participate in risk assessments, Job Safety Analysis, and HIRA activities.
·       Co-ordinate with HOD’s & supervisors and management on safety matters.
·       Promote a positive safety culture across the facility.
 
 
 
Required Skills
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
