Punjab Police carried out a special operation ‘OPS Seal-IX’ aimed at checking all the vehicles entering or exiting the interstate borders of Punjab in ten border districts to keep vigil around drug & liquor smugglers.

✅ Well-coordinated strong nakas involving over 1000 Police Personnel were set up at 84 entry/exit points
✅ 3938 vehicles entering/exiting the state were checked
✅ 471 were challaned and 11 were impounded

Apart from this, Cordon and search operation (#CASO) conducted at 687 locations.

✅ 250 police teams comprising over 2000 Police Personnel conducted raids
✅ 111 drug smugglers arrested
✅ 86 first information reports (FIRs) registered
✅ 787 suspicious persons checked
✅ 1.2 kg heroin, 9.8 kg opium, 3.3 kg ganja, 46 kg poppy husk, 7091 intoxicant capsules/tablets, 1.32 lakh drug money recovered
✅ 189 awareness events held & 2 individuals motivated for de-addiction treatment.

Punjab Police carried out a special operation ‘OPS Seal-IX’ aimed at checking all the vehicles entering or exiting the interstate borders of Punjab in ten border districts to keep vigil around drug & liquor smugglers.

✅ 3938 vehicles entering/exiting the state were checked

✅ 471 were challaned and 11 were impounded

✅ 250 police teams comprising over 2000 Police Personnel conducted raids

✅ 111 drug smugglers arrested

In a major intelligence-led breakthrough, Sri Muktsar Sahib Police has dismantled a drug network, seizing 10.5 Kg Opium and ₹35,000 drug proceeds.

Acting on crucial leads from arrested accused Raju s/o Balvir, FIR dated 06.03.25 was registered at PS Sadar Malout, leading to an initial recovery of 3.5 Kg Opium. Establishing backward linkages, our teams conducted a high-impact operation, recovering an additional 7 Kg Opium.

This operation is a significant blow to the drug trade. We are actively tracing the supply chain and apprehending key associates to dismantle the network.

Our fight against drugs is relentless. We will not stop.

In a swift intelligence-led operation, Counter Intelligence #Pathankot busts an illegal arms smuggling module and apprehends two persons, Kanwalpreet Singh @ Kanwar & Ranjit Singh, and recovers four pistols along with ammunition.

Preliminary investigations reveal that Kanwalpreet was in contact with #USA-based Gangster Pavitter Singh Chaurra, who arranged this consignment.

An FIR under Section 25 of the Arms Act & 61(2) BNS has been registered at #SSOC Amritsar.

Further investigations are underway to trace backward and forward linkages and dismantle the entire network.

Recovery: 4 pistols alongwith ammunition. Details: One Glock Pistol 9MM alongwith 01 magazine and 15 bullets of 9MM, One Pistol 30 bore alongwith 01 magazine and 09 bullets of 30 bore & Two pistols 32 bore alongwith 02 magazines and 15 bullets of 32 bore.

In a well-coordinated joint operation by Uttar Pradesh Police & Punjab Police, has arrested an active operative of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) and ISI, Lajar Masih s/o Kulwinder, a resident of Village Kurlian, PS Ramdas, Amritsar, Punjab, from the Kokhraj police station area, Kaushambi (UP)

The person was working under #Germany-based BKI operative Swaran Singh @ Jeevan Fauji and was in direct contact with #Pakistan’s ISI. Swaran Singh @ Jeevan Fauji is a key associate of Pakistan-based BKI mastermind Harwinder Rinda and #USA-based BKI operative Happy Passian.

A significant cache of arms and explosives, including hand grenades and a foreign-made pistol, has been recovered from Lajar Masih. He is wanted in multiple criminal cases in #Punjab.

Further investigations are underway.

🚨 ਯੁੱਧ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁਧ ਦਾ ਪੰਜਵਾਂ ਦਿਨ: ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਸੂਬੇ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ 'ਤੇ ਆਪਣੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਤੇਜ਼ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਹੈ।

✅ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਭਰ ਵਿੱਚ 356 ਥਾਵਾਂ 'ਤੇ ਛਾਪੇਮਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।
✅ 75 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੇ ਤਸਕਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਗਿਆ - ਸਿਰਫ਼ ਪੰਜ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਕੁੱਲ ਗਿਣਤੀ 547 ਹੋ ਗਈ ਹੈ।
✅ 48 ਐਫ.ਆਈ.ਆਰ. ਦਰਜ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਗਈਆਂ।
✅ 27.7 ਕਿਲੋਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਹੈਰੋਇਨ, 400 ਗ੍ਰਾਮ ਅਫੀਮ, 2,060 ਨਸ਼ੀਲੀਆਂ ਗੋਲੀਆਂ/ਟੀਕੇ ਅਤੇ ₹3.06 ਲੱਖ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਦੀ ਮਨੀ ਬਰਾਮਦ ਕੀਤੀ ਗਈ।

🔍 80 ਐਸ.ਪੀ./ਡੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਰੈਂਕ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ 1,300 ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ 200 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ 416 ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ।

📢 ਲੋਕਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਖ਼ਤਰਿਆਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕ ਕਰਨ ਲਈ 165 ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

In a major blow to trans-border smuggling, Amritsar Rural Police has successfully recovered 23 Kg Heroin from village Devi Daspura, Jandiala. The consignment is linked to a smuggling network operated by #USA-based smuggler Jasmit Singh @ Lucky.

In this case, Sahilpreet Singh @ Karan, a resident of Devi Daspura, has been nominated, and multiple police teams are actively working to arrest him.

An FIR under the NDPS Act registered at PS Jandiala, Amritsar Rural Police

Further investigations are underway to trace both backward and forward linkages in the smuggling network.

Punjab Police remains committed to dismantling drug cartels and making Punjab drug-free.

101 ਐਸ.ਪੀ./ਡੀ.ਐਸ.ਪੀ. ਰੈਂਕ ਦੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਅਗਵਾਈ ਹੇਠ 1,900 ਪੁਲਿਸ ਮੁਲਾਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਸਮੇਤ 250 ਤੋਂ ਵੱਧ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਟੀਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ 627 ਸ਼ੱਕੀ ਵਿਅਕਤੀਆਂ ਦੀ ਜਾਂਚ ਕੀਤੀ

ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਦੇ ਨੁਕਸਾਨਦੇਹ ਪ੍ਰਭਾਵਾਂ ਬਾਰੇ ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਫੈਲਾਉਣ ਲਈ 161ਜਾਗਰੂਕਤਾ ਸਮਾਗਮ ਆਯੋਜਿਤ ਕੀਤੇ ਗਏ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਪੁਲਿਸ, ਪੰਜਾਬ ਨੂੰ ਨਸ਼ਾ ਮੁਕਤ ਸੂਬਾ ਬਣਾਉਣ ਲਈ ਵਚਨਬੱਧ ਹੈ। ਨਸ਼ਿਆਂ ਵਿਰੁੱਧ ਜੰਗ ਪੂਰੀ ਤਾਕਤ ਨਾਲ ਜਾਰੀ ਰਹੇਗੀ।

In a major breakthrough, Amritsar Commissionerate Police has arrested 2 Big Fish Drug traffickers Amolak Singh & Mahabir Singh @ Goldy. In this case, seven accused were earlier arrested with 3 Kg Heroin, ₹5 lakh in drug money, and vehicles used in the crime.

Amolak Singh was operating a drug cartel along with his son. He had been out of jail since 2019 but remained active and absconding for years. Ten FIRs under the NDPS & Arms Act have been registered against him across Punjab.

Preliminary investigation has revealed that he was in possession of a fake arms license. Further probe is underway, and more recoveries are expected.

Recovery: 2 weapons (One .30 pistol two magazines along with 15 live cartridges, One .30 single barrel Springfield rifle with five live cartridges) & one lakh drug money

Punjab Police remains committed to dismantling drug cartels and making Punjab drug-free.
