ਤਰਨਤਾਰਨ ਪੁਲਿਸ ਨੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਸਰਹੱਦ ਨੇੜੇ ਡਰੋਨਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਨਸ਼ੀਲੇ ਪਦਾਰਥਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਹਥਿਆਰਾ ਦੀ ਤਸਕਰੀ ਕਰਨ ਵਾਲੇ ਅੰਤਰਰਾਜੀ ਨੈੱਟਵਰਕ ਦੇ 4 ਮੈਂਬਰਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।

ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ, ਮੁਲਜ਼ਮਾਂ ਨੇ ਪੁਲਿਸ 'ਤੇ ਗੋਲੀਬਾਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਸਾਡੇ ਅਧਿਕਾਰੀਆਂ ਨੇ ਸਵੈ-ਰੱਖਿਆ ਵਿੱਚ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਕੀਤੀ, ਜਿਸ ਵਿੱਚ ਦੋ ਦੋਸ਼ੀ ਜ਼ਖਮੀ ਹੋ ਗਏ, ਜਦੋਂ ਕਿ ਬਾਕੀ ਦੋ ਨੂੰ ਗ੍ਰਿਫ਼ਤਾਰ ਕਰ ਲਿਆ ਗਿਆ।

🚨 Major Crackdown on Smuggling 🚨

Tarn Taran Police has arrested 4 members of an interstate network smuggling drugs and ammunition via drones near the international border.

During the operation, the accused fired at the police. Our officers acted in self-defense, injuring two suspects, while the other two were arrested.

Recovery: 3 illegal weapons, Several live cartridges, 7 Kg opium & ₹1 lakh drug money.

Acting on specific intelligence, Commissionerate PoliceAmritsar decisively tracked down those responsible for the attack on Thakur
Dwara Mandir, #Amritsar, on March 15, 2025. An FIR has been registered at PSChheharta under the Explosive Substances Act, and intelligence-based efforts
led to the identification of the accused.

Police teams tracked the suspects in #Rajasansi. The accusedopened fire, injuring HC Gurpreet Singh and striking Insp. Amolak Singh’s
turban.

Acting in self-defense, the police party fired back,injuring the accused. He was taken to Civil Hospital, where he later succumbed
to his injuries. The other accused fled, and efforts are on to arrest him.

A fresh FIR is being registered at PS Airport. Punjab Policeis fully committed to maintain peace and harmony in the state

Punjab Police continues its relentless crackdown on drug smuggling across the state.

✅ 424 locations raided across Punjab
✅ 63 drug smugglers arrested – 2012 in total over the past 16 days
✅ 45 FIRs registered
✅ 385g heroin, ₹15,600 drug money seized
✅ 19kg poppy husk recovered
✅ 2673 intoxicant tablets/pills/injections seized

Police teams also carried out search operations at jails in six districts—Commissionerate Amritsar, Pathankot, Gurdaspur, Batala, Amritsar Rural, and Tarn Taran—to check for illegal activities.

Over 200 police teams, led by 98 SP/DSP officers and 1400 police personnel, checked 593 suspicious individuals. Punjab Police remains committed to a drug-free Punjab.

Additionally, three individuals have been motivated to seek de-addiction treatment.

In a major breakthrough against organised crime, Anti Gangster Task Force (#AGTF) Punjab in a joint operation with Ludhiana Rural Police arrests Krishan r/o Zira, an operative of foreign-based Gangster Arsh Dala after a brief exchange of fire near Village Sadarpur, PS Sidhwan Bet, Ludhiana Rural

In a bid to escape arrest, Krishan opened fire at the police party. In the retaliatory fire he received a bullet injury on his right leg. Krishan was involved in firing incident at the Ladoo Lekhe wale Jewellery Showroom, Jagraon on 05/03/2025 on directions of his foreign based handler Arsh Dala.

Recovery: One .32 calibre pistol along with 02 live cartridges

Acting on reliable intelligence, Amritsar Rural Police successfully apprehended two accused, Bishemberjit Singh & Sharanjit Singh from #Solan, #HimachalPradesh in connection with the Chung Murder Case.

While being for recovery of weapon used for crime in PS Beas area, Bishemberjit attacked the police party and fired shots from a Glock pistol while attempting to flee from custody, leading to firearm injury to a police personnel. Acting in self defence, the police party fired back and the accused has been injured.

Bishemberjit is being taken to Civil Hospital for medical treatment.

The prime accused, a resident of Churu, #Rajasthan, was deeply embedded in an inter-state Hawala network with links to #Delhi & #Maharashtra. This network played a pivotal role in laundering drug money.

Further intelligence-led operations led to the arrest of Abhi in Ludhiana, culminating in the seizure of 1.5 kg of heroin. Police teams are relentlessly working to dismantle the entire smuggling infrastructure.

n a major breakthrough, Commissionerate Police Amritsar has busted a narco-terror module linked to BKI, by arresting three key operatives from #Bihar while they attempted to flee to #Nepal.

In an intelligence based operation, three accused persons have been apprehended from PS Kumarkhand, #Madhepura, Bihar.

These individuals had earlier delivered grenades and arms recovered in a recent operation.

Arrested persons resided in Amritsar’s Khandwala and Chehartta areas, and are being brought back for further interrogation.
