💻📱 Xiaomi has announced new "productivity" device — could it be a tablet with a keyboard or a slim notebook?
Xiaomi released a teaser saying that a new "computing device" is coming — and the vibe is that it's a product for work/study, not just for media consumption. Judging by the teaser's visuals, it could be a tablet with a keyboard (with illuminated keys) or even a lightweight and thin notebook.
What we can already understand
The brand hasn't revealed the product's name or release date, but the message "we won't stop there" suggests that it wants to go beyond what it has already done in the tablet category. There was also an indication that the company may bring a "wave" of launches, including cell phones and at least one tablet.
What to expect in practice
If it is indeed a tablet with a keyboard, the proposal tends to be that "middle ground" between tablet and laptop: good for writing, using apps on a large screen, and carrying in a backpack. If it's a notebook, the idea should be total portability and a focus on productivity.
