KVS NVS TIER 3 INTERVIEW REVIEW
KVS PGT English Interview Experience | 28 September 2026 | Pune, Maharashtra
Hello friends,
My Name is Neelesh kumar vishwakarma from MP.
PGT ENGLISH in state school education department.
My KVS PGT English interview was conducted on 28 September 2026 in Pune, Maharashtra. Overall, my experience was very good.
I reached the venue well before the reporting time. The interview process continued from around 12:30 PM to 5:00 PM. There was a huge crowd, and naturally, candidates faced some difficulties due to the large number of applicants. However, the entire team at the interview centre was very supportive and cooperative. They gave clear instructions at every stage and guided the candidates properly.
Entry & Biometric Verification
First, candidates were allowed to enter the centre after checking the Interview Call Letter and ID proof.
After entry, there was biometric verification, for which candidates had to show their Tier-II Admit Card and Interview Call Letter.
After biometric verification, the centre team instructed us to relax and arrange our documents properly, including the required self-attested documents.
Document Verification
Candidates were then divided into groups of approximately 10 candidates and sent to particular halls for document verification.
The staff members were very cooperative and patiently addressed the doubts of candidates. They followed the instructions carefully and checked the documents thoroughly.
Special attention was given to OBC-NCL, EWS and other eligibility-related certificates.
After document verification, candidates were sent to their respective interview board rooms.
Interview Panel
The interview panel members were very calm, friendly and supportive.
They first asked me to sit comfortably. After giving me a minute, they asked:
“Please introduce yourself.”
After my introduction, they asked some general questions related to my biodata, educational qualifications and teaching experience.
Demo Teaching
After that, they asked me to give a demo lesson on any topic I had prepared. They also gave the option of taking a topic provided by them.
During the demo, the panel members behaved just like students. They interacted with me, asked questions and participated in the activities.
I was asked to use the blackboard, body language and classroom interaction effectively while explaining the theme and important points.
After the demo, they said “Good” and asked me to take my seat.
Pedagogical & Situational Questions
After the demo, they asked several situational questions related to real classroom situations, along with pedagogical questions and teaching methods.
Some questions were related to:
- How would you teach grammar?
- How would you manage a class where students have different learning levels?
- Different teaching methods and classroom strategies
- Handling students with different learning needs
They also gave me an English grammar question:
“Remove ‘too…to’ from the sentence.”
There were also some general questions and a few questions related to my teaching approach.
Finally, they said “Okay, good luck.”
I replied:
“Good afternoon, Sir/Ma’am. May I go?”
And that was the end of my interview.
Overall Experience
Overall, my experience at the KVS PGT English interview centre in Pune was positive. The centre staff were supportive, the process was systematic, and the interview panel was calm and encouraging.
For future aspirants, my suggestion would be:
Keep your documents properly arranged, know your biodata thoroughly, prepare your demo lesson well, revise basic English grammar and pedagogy, and most importantly, remain calm and confident during the interview.
