KVS NVS TIER 3 INTERVIEW REVIEW

Place : PM Shri kendriya Vidyalaya IISC , Bangalore
Time : 8:30 am
Subject : PGT Biology
8:30 am all candidates were given entry inside the campus.
Seating arrangement was done everyone was sitting there on the chairs.
They were calling out names according to boards for biometric.
Around 9:30 am i went for biometric verification where they asked me for 5 sets of biodata copies and tier 2 hardcopy they verified and attached hologram and then i went to my alloted classroom for document verification where there were 2 officers where one was checking caste certificate and all photocopies and the other one was verifying the original certificates and cross checking % and cgpa and after checking by both of them the self attested copies went to the higher authority. I could find the higher authority being supportive as he was responding in an alternative and proper way in case of some disputes rather than panicking the candidates. There all the 10 candidates were sitting in a room and were arranging documents according to the prescribed format given by the document verifying officers. They provided No conviction certificate and undertaking. We were called serially for document verification. After verification we were waiting for our interview. Around 9:30-10:00 am the interview started. The 1st candidate moved in and came back nearly after 40 - 45 mins. Then serially all the candidates were going and it was taking roughly 40-45 minutes for each candidate in the beginning. I was the last candidate in the morning batch so i had to wait.
My time of interview : 12:25 -12:45 pm.
When I went in there were 4 members 1 woman and 3 men , I was not asked for any personal information or introduction, my interview directly began with "It has been a long wait. I just smiled. Then questions began -
1. You completed your B.Ed in 2024 so what are you doing since then ?
2. Why you want to join KVS ?
3. What have you prepared for the demo? I replied with my topic but they gave me a topic of their choice.
Some candidates were initially given topics by the panel members then they shifted to what you have prepared and at last they came to me with a topic of their choice. As I was last they hardly took 5-7 mins of demo and asked me not to do any formalities of writing date subject topic and start with the explanation itself. Then they called me back to the seat and stared with another round of questions.
4. Do you know ICT? How you will you use ICT in your classroom to make teaching innovative ? Name any 2-3 such applications that you can use.
5. Do you know NEP 2020 ?
I started replying then they shifted to NEP for higher school education then mam said ok i understood you have learnt and come.
6. What is multidisciplinary approach? How will you use it in your subject?
7. How can you teach your topic with art integration or hands on learning?
8. We can see that nowadays after X students moving to coaching centres has become a trend , so what you will do to minimise this ?
9. Since you have taught to both NEET students and school students, What difference do you find in teaching at both levels ?
10. Last question from sir was can you briefly explain Energy flow in ecosystem?
I was just explaining and in midway the other sir interrupted saying sir.....
So they said ok from my side.
Lastly sir said we are done from our side do you have any questions from your side ? I said no sir" and
in this way my interview concluded.
I could feel that I was the last candidate so the interview went on fast and was not so time taking like other candidates because it was lunch time and other batch was waiting too.
