Anyone buying Waaree Renewables?

Disclosure: I’m invested.

At current levels, the stock is trading at roughly 21x P/E despite delivering 109% PAT growth, backed by an unexecuted order book of 2.83 GWp and a bidding pipeline exceeding 36 GWp.

My biggest concern is margins. Operating margins have reset from around 24% in FY23–24 to 19% in FY25–26 and have remained at that level for the past two years. More importantly, management has indicated that a sustainable margin range of 14–16% is a more realistic long-term expectation, which is below current levels.

From a technical perspective, the chart looks increasingly compressed, with volatility contracting and selling pressure appearing to fade. It feels like the stock is building energy for a larger move.

My view:

• Base case: ₹1,400 within the next 12 months.
• Bear case: Continues ranging between ₹800–₹900 for another few quarters while earnings catch up.
• Bull case: ₹ 2000 in case we get lucky and see a decent market-wide rally.

Whatever happened in the US and crypto markets on Friday will likely spill over into our markets once they open on Monday. I won’t be surprised if we take out all the recent lows established over the past two months.

If that happens, I believe this could be the final major dump before the next bullish cycle begins in 2026. It could present some solid investment opportunities for long-term traders.

Anyways, be on the look and don't trade blindly.
