🇺🇸 #US, Japan and South Korea kicked off the first trilateral Freedom Edge exercise on Thursday, according to a joint statement, USNI has reported. The defense chiefs of the three countries announced the exercise on June 2 during the Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.

South Korea’s Yonhap News Agency, citing a release for South Korea’s Joint Chiefs Of Staff reported that the exercise began in in international waters south of South Korea’s Jeju Island.

Nepal's 🇳🇵 central bank now permits QR code payments for transactions with India 🇮🇳 and Bhutan 🇧🇹

💠 This move boosts digital payment capabilities b/w Nepal 🇳🇵& its neighbors

💠 Individuals can use QR codes for transactions through the Retail Payment Switch .

💠 Previously, QR code payments were only allowed through the national payment switch.

💠 Payments for goods and services can now be made in foreign currencies using electronic payments.

💠 Daily transaction limit is Rs 15,000 & monthly limit is Rs 100,000 .

🔴 ABHYAS has successfully completed 10 developmental trials !

DRDO has successfully completed developmental trials of High Speed Expendable Aerial Target (HEAT) ‘ABHYAS’ with improved booster configuration from the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur, Odisha.

ABHYAS, designed by DRDO, is designed for autonomous flying with the help of an auto pilot, a laptop-based Ground Control System for aircraft integration, pre-flight checks, and autonomous flight

The trials were carried out with improved Radar Cross Section, Visual and Infrared augmentation systems. During the trials, various mission objectives covering safe release of booster, launcher clearance, and endurance performance were successfully validated. Two launches were conducted back-to-back within a gap of 30 minutes, demonstrating the ease of operation with minimum logistics. Representatives from the Services witnessed the flight trials, DRDO statement says.

At least one person was killed and six others injured after a portion of the roof of the Delhi airport's Terminal-1 (T1) collapsed on cars amid heavy rain this morning.
Four vehicles, including cabs, were damaged.
All departures from Terminal 1, which has only domestic flight operations, have been temporarily suspended.
