🇮🇱 Sharp Increase in Emigration from Israel Amid Conflict

In 2024, a record 82,700 citizens left Israel, more than double the annual average of 36,900 between 2018 and 2022, according to the Israel Central Bureau of Statistics.

The trend reflects a sharp rise in emigration since 2023, which saw 55,400 Israelis leaving, coinciding with the intensification of fighting in the Gaza Strip.

Meanwhile, population growth in 2024 dropped to 1.1%, the lowest rate in a decade.
