1. Into v/s In to:
Into: The preposition 'into' indicates direction or motion, as in going inside of something. ('into' दिशा किंवा हालचाल दर्शवितो, जसे की एखाद्या गोष्टीच्या आत जाणे)
Eg: We drove into the city
In to: This means, in order to. (च्या साठी,___मिळविण्यासाठी)
Eg: In order to get ice, you need to freeze some water.
2. Ask for v/s Ask to:
Ask for: The preposition 'ask for' is used to make a request for an object(noun). ('ask for' एखाद्या वस्तूची विनंती करण्यासाठी वापरतात)
Eg: I asked for a doughnut and orange juice.
Ask to: The preposition 'ask to' is used to request for an action(verb). ('ask to' एखाद्या क्रियेच्या विनंतीसाठी वापरले जाते)
Eg: My mother asked me to clean my room.
3. Think of v/s think about:
Think of: The preposition ''think of'' means to have an idea or image of someone or something in your mind. ('think of' म्हणजे मनात एखाद्या व्यक्तीची/गोष्टीची कल्पना किंवा प्रतिमा असणे)
Eg: Think of a number between one to ten.
Think about: To 'think about' means to concentrate on a certain thing in order to understand it, remember it, or make a decision about it. (एखादी गोष्ट समजून घेण्यासाठी किंवा ती लक्षात ठेवण्यासाठी किंवा त्या गोष्टीबाबत निर्णय घेण्यासाठी त्या गोष्टीवर लक्ष केंद्रित करणे)

4. Heard of v/s heard about:
Heard of: Heard of implies, the speaker is aware of the existence of something. (याचा अर्थ बोलणारी व्यक्ती एखाद्या गोष्टीच्या अस्तित्वाविषयी जाणून आहे)
Eg: I have heard of this wonderful magic.
Heard about: Heard about implies, the speaker know details and has a complete knowledge of something.
Eg: I have never heard about that policy before.
5. Among v/s between:
Among: Among is used for several things.
Eg: An elk stood among the trees.
Between: Between is used for describe only two things.
Eg: Anne’s shop is between the library and a diner.
