Job Description
📝 The Logistics Assistant is responsible for efficiently managing the shipping, receiving, storing, distribution, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.
📝 This role involves a combination of physical tasks and administrative duties to ensure the smooth flow of materials within the organization.
Job Requirements
📃 Minimum GCE 'N' or 'O' levels or equivalent educational background.
📃 Possess 1 - 2 years of experience in materials handling or a related field, demonstrating a solid understanding of inventory management and materials movement.
📃 Familiar with fundamental packing and shipping techniques to ensure the safe transportation of materials.
📃 Ability to comprehend and adhere to company safety rules and regulations.
📃 Proficiency in using appropriate tools, processes, and techniques for materials handling, ensuring materials are managed efficiently and securely.
📃 Strong numeracy skills to accurately perform tasks such as counting, measuring, and verifying quantities.
📃 Basic knowledge of Oracle and Agile systems is advantageous, contributing to effectively utilising digital tools for materials management.
📃 Able to lift and carry weights of up to 20kgs, meeting the role's physical demands.
