Job Description
π Assist with food preparation tasks, such as chopping, peeling, and washing ingredients, under the supervision of the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
π Help maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
π Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines, ensuring that all work areas meet health and safety standards.
π Monitor and report any issues with kitchen equipment or facilities, assisting with maintenance and repair tasks as needed.
π Unload deliveries, store ingredients properly, and help with inventory management tasks to maintain optimal stock levels.
π Support the culinary team during busy service periods, ensuring that food is prepared and served in a timely and efficient manner.
π Demonstrate a strong work ethic, punctuality, and professionalism in all interactions with colleagues and customers.
π Continuously learn and develop culinary skills, contributing to the growth and success of the F&B establishment's culinary offerings.
π Assist with other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Chef or Kitchen Supervisor.
Job Requirements
π GCE N or O level or equivalent; culinary training or experience is an asset.
π Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen environment is preferred.
π Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
π Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
π Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
