🇭🇺 A city at the crossroads of cultures

🇮🇹 Lake Avernus – portal to Hell

Around the 8th century BC, the Euboean Greeks founded the settlement of Cumae near Lake Avernus, west of Naples. Virgil glorified him in the Aeneid. It was the Greeks who first associated the lake with hellish elements. For them, it was the entrance to the underworld of Hades, where all the dead souls lived.

Lake Avernus is an extinct crater located in a huge caldera called the Phlegrean Fields. Its circumference is more than 2 km and its depth is 3.22 km. The height of the mountain is 108 m. Views from the edge of the volcano include the Tyrrhenian Sea with its islands of Capri and Ischia.

Housing prices in the EU increased by 48% between 2010 and 2023, according to the latest report from the Eurostat agency

The world's longest tram has reached the line connecting three cities in southwestern Germany - Mannheim, Ludwigshafen and Heidelberg

The bungalow has belonged to his family for more than 60 years after his parents refused to move when plans for the roundabout were unveiled in the 1970s.

📌 pedagogical support - participation in thematic seminars (minimum 25 days per year);

📌 possibility of counting the year as practice for university entrance.

The volunteer project is intended for young people aged between 15 and 26 years old. The programme is available to everyone, regardless of nationality, and lasts from 6 to 12 months (with the possibility of extension up to 18 months).

🇮🇪 Bee Beds - a new travelling experience for nature lovers
