THOSE WHO MISSED SOME FASTS IN RAMADAN

Should Women Start With Making up Missed Fasts or Shawwal Fasting?

Shaykh Ibn Uthaymin (رحمة الله) said:

"If a woman still owes days from Ramadan, then she should not fast the six days of Shawwal until after she has made up what she owes, because the Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever fasts Ramadan then follows it with six days of Shawwal…" Whoever still has days to make up from Ramadan has not fasted Ramadan, so she will not attain the reward of fasting the six days of Shawwal until after she has finished making up the days she owes.."

Fasting of the limbs

Narrated Abu Huraira:

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Whoever does not give up false statements (i.e. telling lies), and evil deeds, and speaking bad words to others, Allah is not in need of his (fasting) leaving his food and drink."

The month of Ramadan affords an ideal opportunity to better one’s morals. Whether it be controlling your temper, doing random acts of kindness towards strangers, or just smiling more, these good traits can become part of your life after the month ends.

❌ Men and Women shaking hands ❌

When our beloved Rasool (Salallaahu alaihi wasalam) didn't touch hands of women while taking a Bay'ah, how can it be permissible at other times? (Admin)

➡️Based on the Hadith related by Al-Bukhari

On the authority of Urwah from Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) who narrated
the story of Bayah (pledge of allegiance) which the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) made with women.

She said: "No, by Allah, never did his hand (the Prophet's) touch the hand of a woman during the Bayah. (Bayt) ( He would only take a vow from her verbally saying, 'I have accepted your Bayah (for Islam).'"

Prophet صلی اللہ علیہ وآلہ وسلم called the month of Ramadan as :
شَهْرَ الصَّبْرِ
The month of patience.

Imaam Aḥmad (d.241H) – raḥimahullaah – said:

“Allaah has mentioned ṣabr (patience) in over ninety places in His Book.” [Madarijus Salikeen]

Ibn ʿAbd al-Barr (d.464H) – raḥimahullaah – said:

“What is meant by the month of Patience is the month of Ramaḍaan … So fasting is called patience because it restrains the soul from eating, drinking, conjugal relations and sexual desires.” [At-Tamheed]
