Telengana:- Tension arose in Shadnagar, Ranga Reddy district, when vandals damaged the 'Shivalinga' at Basava temple. Local devotees noticed the damage on Friday morning.
This incident is not isolated, as other temples in the Hyderabad vicinity have been targeted recently.
Hindu organizations protested at the temple, and the police have started an investigation, increasing security in response to recent temple vandalism protests in the district.
