ያገለገሉ ተሸከርካሪዎች ሽያጭ ጨረታ

አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ ከላይ የተጠቀሰዉን ብዛታቸዉ 30 የሚሆኑ ያገለገሉ ተሸከርካሪዎችን በግልጽ ጨረታ አወዳድሮ መሸጥ ይፈልጋል፡፡

ተሸርካሪዎቹ የሚገኙበት አድራሻ 6 ኪሎ አዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ የትራንስፖርትና ተሸከርካሪ ጥገና ክፍል ሲሆን ለመግዛት ፍላጎትና ብቃት ያላቸዉ ተጫራቾች በታሸገ ኢንቨሎፕ የጨረታ ሰነድ ለአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ እንድታቀርቡ ተጋብዛችኋል፡፡

ጨረታዉ በአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርስቲ ግዥና ንብረት አስተዳደር መመሪያ ሥነ-ሥርዓት መሰረት ይፈፀማል::

ፍላጎት ያላቸው ተጫራቾች ከዚህ በታች በተራ ቁጥር 7 (ሀ/ በተገለፀው አድራሻ የጨረታ ሰነዱን የማይመለስ ብር 300.00 (ሶስት መቶ ብር) በዩኒቨርስቲዉ የኢትዮጲያ ንግድ ባንክ አካዉንት ቁጥር 1000087392067 ገቢ በማድረግና ደረሰኙን ይዘዉ በመቅረብ ስለተሸከርካሪዎቹ ሙሉ ዝርዝር የያዘዉን ሰነድ መውሰድ ይችላሉ፡፡

የጨረታ ሰነዱን ከዚህ በታች በተራ ቁጥር 7 (ለ) በተገለጸዉ አድራሻ እስከ ጥር 30 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም እሰከ ጠዋቱ 4፡00 ሰዓት ድረስ ማስገባት ይችላሉ፡፡ የጨረታ ማስከበሪያዉ በተጫራቾች መመሪያ በተዘረዘረዉ መሰረት አያይዘዉ ያቀርባሉ፡፡ ዘግይተዉ የሚቀርቡ የጨረታ ሰነዶች ተቀባይነት የላቸዉም፡፡

ጨረታዉ ተጫራቾች ወይም ህጋዊ ወኪሎቻቸው በተገኙበት በቁጥር 7 (ሐ) በተጠቀሰዉ አድራሻ ጥር 30 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም ጠዋት 4፡30 ሰዓት ይከፈታል፡፡

ተጫራቾች ከዚህ በታች በተራ ቄጥር 7 (ለ) በተገለጸዉ አድራሻ ጥር 30 ቀን 2017 ዓ.ም ጠዋት 4፡00 ሰዓት ወይም በፊት በተዘጋጀዉ የጨረታ ሳጥን ዉስጥ የጨረታ ሰነዱን በማስገባት (በግዥ እና ንብረት አስተዳደር ዳይሬክቶሬት ቢሮ ከጨረታ መክፈቻ ጊዜ በፊት ማቅረብ አለባቸዉ፡፡ ተጋባዥ ተጫራቾች በጨረታዉ ለመሳተፍ የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ መጠን ብር 100,000.00 (አንድ መቶ ሺህ ብር) በሲፒኦ ወይም በሁኔታ ላይ ባልተመሰረተ የባንክ ዋስትና በዩኒቨርስቲዉ ስም አሰርተዉ አያይዘዉ ማቅረብ አለባቸዉ፡፡ በተጨማሪም ጨረታዉ ከተከፈተ በኋላ ማንኛዉም ተጫራች ከዉድድሩ ከወጣ የተያዘዉ የጨረታ ማስከበሪያ የሚወረስ ይሆናል፡፡

ለ/ የጨረታዉ ሰነድ የሚገባበት አድራሻ አዲስ አባባ ዩኒቨርስቲ የቀድሞ ግዥና ንብረት አስተዳደር ዳይሬክቶሬት ቢሮ ቁጥር 200
ሐ/ ጨረታዉ የሚከፈትበት አድራሻ አዲስ አባባ ዩኒቨርስቲ የቀድሞ ግዥና ንብረት አስተዳደር ዳይሬክቶሬት ቢሮ ቁጥር 200
የጨረታ አሸናፊዉ ድርጅት የዉል ስምምነት ከተፈረመበት ቀን በኋላ ባሉት 10 ቀናት ውስጥ ለየኒቨረስቲዉ ሙሉ ክፍያ በመፈጸም ከከፈለበት ቀን ጀምሮ ባሉት በ10 ተከታታይ ቀናት ውሥጥ እቃዉን ማንሳት አለበት፡፡
ዩኒቨርሲቲዉ በከፊልም ሆነ በሙሉ ጨረታዉን የመሰረዝ መብት አለዉ፡፡

የ2017 ዓ.ም የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ስፖርት ፌስቲቫል "ስፖርት ለተሟላ ስብዕና እድገት" በሚል መሪ ቃል ተጀመረ፡፡

ፌስቲቫሉ ከጥር 22 ቀን እስከ የካቲት 2/2017 ዓ.ም በስድስት የዉድድር አይነቶች ይካሄዳል።

የአዲስ አበባ ዩንቨርስቲ ተ/ፕሬዚዳንት ሳሙኤል ክፍሌ (ዶ/ር) በ2016 ዓ.ም ከረጅም አመታት ብኋላ ዳግም የተጀመረው ፌስቲቫል አመርቂ ውጤት የታየበት መሆኑን አንስተዉ፤ በዘንድሮው ውድድርም ከሁሉም ካምፓሶች በሁለቱም ፆታ ከአንድ ሺ በላይ ተማሪዎች እንደሚሳተፉ ገልጸዋል፡፡

የስፖርት ፌስቲቫሉ መዘጋጀት ለትምህርት፣ ለስብዕና ግንባታ፣ በስፖርት የዳበረ አካልን እና አብሮነትን ለማዳበር የላቀ አበርክቶ ይኖረዋል ብለዋል።

በዚህ ፌስቲቫል የነገ ሀገር ተረካቢ ተተኪ የሆኑ ወጣት የዩኒቨርሲቲችን ተማሪዎች፤ ጨዋነት እና ስነ-ምግባር በሚስተዋልበት ስፖርታዊ ውድድር ሠላም እና አብሮነትን መርህ አድርገው የተሻለ ፉክክር እንዲያደርጉ ሳሙኤል ክፍሌ (ዶ/ር) መልዕክት አስተላልፈዋል፡፡

በመክፈቻው ላይ የተገኙት የአዲስ አበባ ከተማ ወጣቶች እና ስፖርት ቢሮ ሀላፊ አቶ በላይ ደጀን በበኩላቸው የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ በራስ ገዝነት ጉዞው ዳግም ያስጀመረው ስፖርት ፌስቲቫል ለሌሎች የሀገራችን ተቋማት ተምሳሌት መሆኑን አንስተው፤ ተግባሩም የተማረ እና በስፖርት ስነ-ምግባር የታነፀ ትውልድ ለመገንባት ወሳኝነቱ የጎላ መሆኑን አሰታውሰው ለኢትዮጵያ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች የስፖርት ፌስቲቫል እንዲጀመር ያበረከተው አስተዋጽኦው ላቅ ያለ ነው ብለዋል።

ፌስቲቫሉ በእግር ኳስ፤ በመረብ ኳስ፤ በቅርጫት፤ አትሌቲክስ፤ ፓራ-ኦሎምፒክ እና በቼዝ በአጠቃላይ በስድስት የስፖርት አይነቶች ለአስራ አንድ ቀናት በደመቀ ስነ-ስርዓት የሚከናወን ይሆናል፡፡

በኢትዮጵያ ዩኒቨርሲቲዎች ስፖርት ፌስቲቫል እየተሳተፈ የሚገኘው የአዲስ አበባ ዩኒቨርሲቲ እግር ኳስ ቡድን ከጅግጅጋ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር ያደረገውን የምድብ የመጀመሪያ ጨዋታ 1ለ0 በሆነ ውጤት አሸነፏል።

የማሸነፊያ ግቧን ክሩቤል ታደሰ ከመረብ ማሳረፍ ችሏል።

ቡድኑ የምድብ ቀጣይ ጨዋታውን ከወራቤ ዩኒቨርሲቲ ጋር ያደርጋል።

AAU and Embassy of Czech Republic Deliberate on Forging Academic Ties

Dr Samuel Kifle, the Interim President of Addis Ababa University (AAU), received and held talks with H.E. Miroslav Kosek, the Czech Ambassador to Ethiopia, on initiating collaboration between Addis Ababa University and universities in the Czech Republic.

The ambassador mentioned that a delegation from Masaryk University in the Czech republic is expected to arrive in Ethiopia in weeks, and will meet faculty leaders and students at AAU to identify potential areas for academic cooperation.

For his part, the AAU president Dr Samuel Kifle said expanding international partnerships across academic disciplines is an important strategic goal of the autonomous university administration as it seeks to further elevate the profile and role of the nation's most prestigious university.

Dr Samuel Kifle further indicated that AAU recognizes the power of collaboration and the potential it holds to address some of the nation's most pressing challenges, adding together with its international partners, AAU can harness ties to drive innovation, create positive societal impact and secure a sustainable future for all.

In this connection, the upcoming exploratory visit by the Czech envoy is anticipated to pave the way for the formalization of joint science and technology projects and academic exchange programs that benefit both universities and their respective nations .

AAU Libraries Hosts Training in Generative AI, AI Ethics

In an endeavor to close the AI skills gap, AAU Libraries, in collaboration with the University’s E-learning Unit, offered a daylong up-skilling training course to the university’s academic staff and postgraduate students to increase the adoption of Artificial Intelligence in research and scholarship.

The training facilitated by Dr Melkamu Beyene, Director of AAU Libraries and Dr Temtim Assefa, E-learning Unit Coordinator at AAU, also included emerging ethical issues as they relate to AI and the deployment of technological mechanisms to detect ethical violations.

In particular, the trainers said, Turnitin, a leading provider of technology solutions in academic integrity to which AAU has a subscription, has enhanced AI writing detection capacity and will help faculty in the provision of enhanced Similarity Reports to help them identify when content generated by AI writing tools may have been submitted.

Addis Ababa University Launches Presidential Scholarship Scheme

Presidential scholarships have been awarded to 200 first-time freshmen with the highest AAU Entrance Exam scores at a special inaugural event. The fee waiver scholarships will mean awardees will not have to go through cost-sharing procedures.

Dr. Samuel Kifle, the Acting President of Addis Ababa University, told the winners that the university recognizes and rewards those who demonstrate exceptional talent in keeping with its strategic goal of maintaining its high standards as Ethiopia’s most prestigious university.

The president further said scholarship holders must meet the maintenance requirement of a GPA of 3.25 to be eligible for continued assistance, adding the university also assists outstanding students admitted to its various graduate programs.

First-in-Africa International Sign Language Research Conference Kicks off in Addis Ababa

The 15th International Conference on Sign Language Research, hosted by Addis Ababa University in collaboration with the Ministry of Women and Social Affairs, is underway at the Inter-Luxury Hotel in Addis Ababa.

Dr. Ergoge Tesfaye, the Minister of Women and Social Affairs asserted that the event serves as a platform for sharing experiences and knowledge aimed at advancing and improving sign language.

Dr. Ergoge further emphasized that sign language is not merely a tool for communication; it also plays a vital role in fostering cultural heritage and safeguarding the rights of individuals with disabilities.

The minister also highlighted Ethiopia's commitment to providing high-quality sign language education to individuals with hearing impairment and hearing loss, adding significant efforts are being made in Ethiopia to ensure that the deaf and hard-of-hearing have access to education and employment opportunities.

For his part, Dr. Samuel Kifle, the Interim President of Addis Ababa University, remarked that the conference will offer valuable research, experiences, and insights that will help to raise the quality of sign language education.
